Takeaway order - super garlic pizza. Unsure if it was made fresh because I noticed several pizzas sitting on top of the oven that were being recycled. Picking off ingredients and remaking! I watched a pizza come out of the oven Then watched the staff member throw a handful of raw sliced onion and about a tablespoon of chopped tomato on top then hand to me. I was A little confused but thought okay I’ll I’ll try it. The base was thicker than it should be and doughy because it wasn’t browned. The description is mozzarella on a garlic base with chopped tomato and onion. Perhaps the description should say raw onion and raw tomato so customers can request that this be cooked through the pizza! Maybe this was a recycled pizza too and ingredients were missing so thrown on top at the end? Although the staff who took my order were friendly, it was a weird atmosphere. Disappointing and won’t be buying food...
Read moreDelicious food on god. I looked through the reviews before posting this, and as a regular, I have no clue what these nut heads are on… Pizza is always fully cooked and I can assure you, that not once in my multiples time there have they reused any ingredients (according to one review). I had a chat with the friendly staff about it out of curiosity and they provided an answer: They simply give the incorrect pizza’s to the staff to take home and remake the pizzas for the customer for free. And then to the other person complaining about the lack of prawn; have you seen the prices of sea food nowadays? That stuff is expensive, so I do not blame them for trying to ration. If you want extra prawns, just… order extra prawns? The service is great and the atmosphere is just what I need on a night where I’m craving some Italian! The owner is a sweetheart too! His humour is to die for! This place is...
Read moreMy son liked the supreme pizza but the tortellini al funghi didn't have all the ingredients it was supposed to have as listed on the menu, we rang to let the chef know there was too much sauce and not enough tortellini I was surprised the chef was Indian as I was expecting an Italian chef, he did not take our feedback on board and said he weighs the tortellini and has not had complaints before, he also said he didn't have any shallots but I found two small pieces of shallots lost in the sauce, he did not offer an alternative or to make it again, the customer is always right and word of mouth spreads. He was defensive and needs to listen to customers to improve as good customer service goes a long way.
