Bronte Belo Diamond Beach — Restaurant in New South Wales

Regardless of high rating reviews, I had a below standard experience here. It was a beautiful morning and I was having a good time with my two dogs sitting at one of their outside tables next to a pole where I tied them to. Food was okay, not the best coffee. Upon finishing my breakfast while on a phone call, there appeared be a few of their regulars who seemed to wait for my exact table. The staff started to rush me to move to another spot because their regulars would like to sit on my table. Trust me, it is a bad experience when you are being kicked out of your table right after a breakfast. Their reason ? “As in a restaurant we need to move around the table for other customers, you are not gonna stay here for all day are you?” Absolutely disgusted by their poor approach and reasoning. There were plenty of available tables around, they just had to kick me out because I appeared to already “finish my meal”? There was no sign or note reminding people about any time limit for dine-ins, nor was there a reservation sign on the table telling me this particular table was taken. New customer alert: you don’t want be treated like this, they will kick you out because you are not...

This is my second visit as I thought I would give them a second chance. Unfortunately it will be my last. They Do Not know how to poach soft eggs even when requested. Hard boiled both times although strangely one of our meals ordered had one soft and one hard. My avocado I could not even cut through with the knife it was that hard I just left it on the plate. When ordering iced coffee, was asked if it was on ice or icecream. ( icecream was requested) but it came out made on ice and was not nice at all . The smoothies were nice that we ordered. Visited last weekend for dinner with a group of friends, had heard about the place but not sure what to expect. Had a fantastic time, really enjoyed the meal and overall experience. Relaxed and thoughtful decor, a good collection of cocktails, beer, wine and other drinks, and very friendly and flexible staff.
