I was not expecting this venue to be nearly as large, modern and well-appointed as it is. What a great place! Spacious, clean, plenty of seating inside and out, friendly and pleasant staff and—most importantly for me—a really good menu (heaps of options) and a great set of specials, delivered by a fully staffed kitchen. The food was great and the coffee was excellent. Passing through with the family, I was really impressed by what I thought would turn out to be a small roadside cafe with a pie warmer. Far from it! A really nice venue and one we will surely visit again. (Photos of menu are as at 12 December 2021.)

Lovely camp spot, by the river. Dog friendly on leash, powered & unpowered sites for tents & campervans. Neat toilet & shower facilities, cafe if you get stuck and need something. No phone reception what so ever but there is a pay phone. River is great for swimming, clean flowing water Would stay again! Very peaceful

Last weekend I camped at Colo with two of my girlfriends, we popped into the cafe to buy a lighter for cooking and decided to get some coffees to takeaway. As we were waiting we saw someones breakfast come out and it looked amazing. So the next morning we headed back for Brekky and it was honestly incredible. So much food. Best scrambled eggs, generous serve of avo, crispy hashbrowns, mushrooms and spinach were perfect. Tomato relish was delish. We were all so happy. The staff that work there, especially the young girl and boy were honestly so lovely and such good service. We are spoilt for choice where we live on the northern beaches, but honestly this is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in ages. 10/10 and looking forward to coming back next time we come...

Stopped in here on our way from Katoomba to Newcastle via the scenic route. The cafe was a beautiful little stop for lunch. Food was delicious and decently priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with helping sort out my gluten free needs, going so far as to double check the aoli and mayonnaise on my meal was gf without me asking and offering me extra salad in place of the chips I couldn't have. To top it off they had a gf citrus tart, a rare treat in my world!...
