We are locals used to come here regulary last few times food and service not so good. This tine is the worst will never go back again. Tried booking a table on Thursday 10/4/25 arvo for Friday 11/4/25 it took 3 phone calls. First 2 calls where answered by a lady and I was put on hold for 15 minutes she never came back. Finally 3rd call spoke to a lady and booked a table for 2 at 5.30pm on Friday. Arrived Friday they did not have my booking no apologies and sat us at a table for 4 when there was several tables for 2 available for the whole time we were there. The specials what a disappiontment compared to what used to be offered when Wren was there. Wait time ridiculous they were too busy serving the take a way orders We ordered a pizza from the specials menu and garlic bread because not much choice. Pizza swimming in sauce, garlic bread was garlic calzone dried inside the edge doughy not edible. Then waited some time to be offered desert never happened. We left very dissapionted and hungry. My name is Anthony, a regular customer. Tonight I dropped in for another delicious pizza. I wish I could remember the wonderful young ladys name that always remembers my name. She asked me " how are you doing?". I replied, " it could be better!" ( I'm not being sarcastic) She very kindly decided to give me my pizza on the house. I tried my best to give the young lady my money for the pizza, she refused to take it. I explained to her the reason why I say " it could be better!" ( When someone asks how I'm doing) Is because my partner is TERMINALLY ILL, she suffers a rare disease called CTEPH, Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension. This young lady had no idea what I was to tell her, but because she is genuine, kind, humble and honest, I believe she knew something wasn't right with her regular customer. (Me) Thank you so much for being you and having so much respect for your customers. Very rare to find someone this young in hospitality showing the true definition of Hospitality. I am not a local to this area i am staying here on holidays.I went in to the restaurant to see how long it would take to make 3 pizzas on a Sunday night the girl serving asked the kitchen staff how long they said 20 mins nearly 40 mins later. But while I was waiting that whole time a table came in asked for a table they were seated outside they were asked what they would like to order 10 minutes to 15 mins later there pizzas on the table. How can my pizzas take 40 mins yet someone comes in to eat and gets there pizzas within 10 to 15 mins. I then went in the young girl apologised about the wait I then said thats fine but you told me only 20 mins that's why I asked as I had a baby at home and I could of come back. I tried to call for 10 mins prior to going down and the phone just rung out. The girl also asked if I like free drinks due to the wait I didn't take the drinks. Also to watch the staff Herr under pressure all looked lost and not happy nor a nice things for customers to see with a open kitchen looked very unorganised.
