Jingellic Pub — Restaurant in New South Wales

Great spot on the river to relax and unwind. Camping is great with creature comforts nearby. Can light a fire and relax. easy walk straight up into the pub for a beer and feed if you are so inclined. ||The pub feed lives up to expectations at time of writing. Average feed for a higher price. Overheard conversation with staff telling a bunch of blokes staying on premises that they hadn't booked in restaurant so were unlikely to get a feed. There was also a bucks party in play. Think they managed to get a seat but warned of extended wait to get a feed. Our feed came out in reasonable time but my BBQ pork ribs were only just warm and not marinated. BBQ was all in the sauce on the side condiment dish. Suspect they buy the ribs in and reheat them without marinade. Chicken Schnitzel my partner ate was burnt on one side indicates frying in a pan not deep fried. Friends ate beer batter flathead, that was good. Another had Grilled salmon cooked on one side (not the skin side). I've been here a few times and finally felt necessary to write a review. The number of times I've been disappointed outweighs the goods. I would encourage people to stay and visit but don't expect great food or service. WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I can honestly not recommend anyone to go there. It was my first and without a doubt my very last time there! I'm not usually the type of person to write reviews but I'm SO horrified/disgusted by the treatment we received from the staff on the weekend. It all started with an order which they had missed (fair enough mistakes happens). Anyways we notify the waitress/staff (nicely) about this a couple of times over a period of about an hour. Instead of owning up to the mistake though the waitress would accuse someone in our group to have eaten two meals (really?) Then we were told to F* off by her plus one guy was called a C. Thinking it couldn't get any worse than that she then would twist the whole story to her coworkers/kitchenstaff who then very aggressively would approach this one poor guy who SHE had called a C** not the other way around!
