After a 30km hike into the holiday park, I felt no guilt dining on the homemade chicken schnitzel. The plate was loaded with fries and a simple 4-vegetable garden salad, with a generous ramekin of gravy on the side. The schnitzel itself was crisp and the chicken was cooked and not overly dry. The staff were sympathetic and accommodating, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Watch out for the chip-snatching currawong - unfortunately, guests have taken to throwing food at it to get it to leave them alone. I got breakfast the following morning- a true blue Aussie big breakfast, with 2 pieces of white toast among a substantial helping of bacon. The standard pair of fried eggs, ramekin of baked beans and a hash brown completed the set - I ordered mushrooms with it, a tasty addition. The flat white was fine, a decent country quality brew. The prices could have been higher to take advantage of an exclusive market, so no complaints there from me. They have a fine selection of alcohol, but nothing on tap.

Nice spot overlooking the lakes. Got some burgers, fries and nuggets for the kids. The chips were on point. Venue is a little run down but is remote and coming off the back of covid and months of ferry closure pretty good.

Beautiful spot but the food wasn’t what I’ve expected of it. Ordered Caesar chicken salad just to noticed that there were sand on it and not to sure if it was washed. The chicken tasted like it was in the fridge for a while and just been refried. Ordered for mango smoothie just to know that we were given banana smoothie. The fried got that curry looking colour that shows it was been fried over an old used cooking oil. The pizza! I can tell it’s just a frozen one cause all the vegies and feelings on it were too soggy. Pretty disappointed cause we choose the place to have our...

The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable the location and views were amazing.

The food, however, was very sub par. I really recommend you just don’t order food there! The chicken schnitzel and the calamari were awful.

Perhaps the other menu offerings are better but I would definitely avoid those.

But like I said the staff was amazing and we enjoyed feeding the food the friendly magpies. We hope to see this place get a chef in one day that can show...
