Ordered online (cuz it says the kitchen opens at 5 and lets you order) went down at pickup time and told no orders had been recieved, barman then seemed very arrogant and told me he would go check, then can back and said nah it’s not there, then told me the kitchen opened at 6, I asked how it opened at 6 when it said online different, he then said I don’t know it opens at 6 the chefs not even here, I asked what to do about the 82 dollar order I had already been charged for to this I was told I don’t know I do drinks not food I can do you a beer, I said no I’d like to get a refund if I’m not getting my food and he pointed to a woman across the room drinking wine by the looks and said that’s the manager, I spoke with her and she said she could have the order done in 20, went back to get food in good faith that it would be a nice meal, the garlic bread was basically burnt toast, the chicken schnitzel hot on the outside but barely warm on the inside, chips were very bland, salmon salad was drowned in soy sauce, overall not a pleasant experience, would not recommend, especially when bartenders are arrogant and think they know better than anyone else including people...

The customers will go elsewhere. But, each hotel is different at retaining returning customers I guess. Food...

The tavern was small and cosy, with a fire going in the dining area and the staff were very friendly. A good selection of meals was shown on the menu, all reasonably priced. We chose the Chicken Schnitzel and were amazed at the size of the meals when they were delivered to the table - we should have ordered just one plate for the two of us! The chicken was soft, moist and perfectly cooked, as were the stack of fresh vegetables. We passed on the...
