Norah Head Bowling & Sports Club — Restaurant in New South Wales

We are staying at caravan park, we went to sporties on Wednesday night for dinner. First was told no salmon so I chose a caesar salad with prawns. My partner ordered a chicken schnitzel and we ordered bruscetta with feta. 5 mins later both meals came out at same time as the bruscetta. My salad was a large bowl if lettuce some croutons 5 small thawed prawns and 1 boiled egg cut in half covered in finely grapes partisan cheese. I ate the prawns. This meal cost $31 I had to eat the bruscetta because I was hungry but the bruscetta came with 2 small pieces of feta one of them that cost an extra 3 dollars for the cheese. My partners schnitzel was burnt around the edges and overcooked cooked all up the meal cos $71 and was not edible. The young girl who came to move the plates asked if I wanted the salad put in a container to take home I sad no it's just a bowl of lettuce. This club has always been a go to place for us when we are staying here but not ever again. It was disappointing...

This pub and the staff are so unorganised. My partner and I had lunch here at the bistro, first of all we were waiting and waiting for service, the young girl serving didn’t know much about the menu, was fiddling around and the chef was chasing her around the pub to serve customers that were waiting. I witnessed this 5x and he had to constantly tell her that customers were waiting to be served. It was like she purposely avoided the patrons and she kept running off to the bathroom. The food was really nice, but you can’t call a cheeseburger a cheeseburger if it doesn’t come with the cheese? The bar staff were just charging random prices for drinks. My partner came out to the gaming area and said he’s been charged like 4x different prices for the same drink! He said the bar staff are so unorganised. They couldn’t find/open a new bottle of bourbon, they couldn’t find the sugar for coffees and they couldn’t find the caramel shot in the coffee! The only good thing...

If I could give zero stars I would. We made a reservation in advance and when we arrived we were told there was an error and they were busy so there’s nothing they can do about it. Thankfully a table became available for us or maybe not, because it was a terrible experience. We went to order pizza only to be told the pizza kitchen was closed because of a function. We ordered dinner… after an hour wait, one dish came out without a main component, and was told “sorry you should have been told when you ordered”. There was no offer of picking another dish. One dish came out with plastic in it. One dish came out with dressing when it was requested without. One dish came out with an item we specifically requested be removed. One dish came out with hair in it. The service was shocking, with one of the staff constantly huffing and puffing when we brought up another issue. We were made to feel like we were being difficult.
