Stopped on way back from NC. Other option was McDonald's. Should have gone there. Oliver's had one really good point, it was not busy, so lots of quiet seating. However, service was basic, no effort to make one feel welcome or encourage a second visit. Just another number. Coffee tasted like the coffee grinds were burnt, you may like this. I don't. But the most disappointing thing was the spinach and cream cheese muffin. Avoid!!! It needed more binding agent. Just fell apart into a big pile of dry crumbs when I tried to eat it. And the cream cheese consisted of a tiny dried out blob ontop. If I had the time I would have returned and complained. But I guess that is to their advantage (or rather disadvantaged?)as they get no feedback as most trade would mostly be passing through.

I'm not usually one for beans, but I got curious - and I'm glad I did because they were made really well! Just simple steamed beans in a cup but they weren't mushy and with a pinch of salt, they tasted great 🄰 Hubby ordered butter chicken, so I dipped some beans in the butter chicken sauce - perfect! Coffee was also delicious, as were their smoothies. They sell these cute little Kombucha drinks that are really nice too but the one thing I loved the most - The carrot, celery and hummus snack packs. Fresh carrot, fresh celery and the most DELICIOUS hummus I've ever tasted. I'll be coming back, specifically for those delightful snack packs. I left the restaurant feeling full, but really happy about it. The food doesn't just sooth your appetite - it soothes your soul too.

Driven past many times. We thought we would try this place , healthier option. Very slow service, super expensive for what we got . I got the egg and bacon burger without bacon and halloumi added. Swiftly told it wont be cheaper without the bacon… After a 25 min wait, virtually finished our lattes. The halloumi was almost black and so hard, had to send back šŸ˜±šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøonly to have it replace with a less black dry halloumi. Disappointed , the lattes were perfect. Need heaps of improvement guys.

Location: Oliver’s Real Food, Caltex Stopover F3 Fwy, Northbound Wyong, NSW, 2259, Australia.

Service: Machines to take your order now which makes things a lot less personal. However you can still order at he counter. We did have to wait quite a long time for our order & it did not seem as though they were that busy.

Decor: it looks as though it has been redone recently. Good size tables inside with plenty of chairs. Lots of things in the store for purchase.

Atmosphere: Busy truck stop place.

Bathrooms: Big, but they were shocking and the worst I have seen at any Oliver’s store. There was so much water on the floor it was extremely dangerous, mixed with hair and dirt the floors were disgraceful.

Value for money: Good, for excellent fresh food.

Drinks: N/A.

Food: Dmitry had the Veggie Patch Pocket & Kayleen had the All day Omelette with Sourdough Toast. Both are always very good, but with the omelette being freshly made and a very good serving it has to be the winner at any time of day at any Oliver’s.

Synopsis: Great fresh food alternative to horrible truck stop takeaway food. And their tag line of ā€˜do you want beans with that’ shows their desire to be a true change for the best with food selections on the road. Well worth the visit, even at the super busy...

Geez I thought this place would be a good alternative to macdonalds, especially being vegetarian, but with very few decent vegetarian options and with pre wrapped food that has no option to be altered. The only thing it has going for it is that it is healthier than the servo or maccas food near by, I was actually more inclined to spend more here until the exorbitant price hike. Why oh why does it cost close to $10 for a banana smoothie, regardless if they are organic this exorbitant, Maybe Jason gunn needed a few new fancy rings. With the cost of everything else rising how about a business with ethics that's not just trying to look after the countries highest earners, sure a a healthy alternative but come on where' the threshold this is capitalism at it's finest, get a second mortgage as you enter(not just the Wyong store olivers in general) Lastly apologies to the workers as I am assuming pricing out...

Olivers used to be the best. Those lamb pitas were amazing and the whole place had a sense of hope and an actual care for nutrition in a world which just wants things fast and doesn't care what's in it.

However, as much as I want it to do well, Olivers has the feeling of something which is defunct and just holding on.

Specifically: They keep changing their menu and even the composition of the things within the menu, e.g. the lamb pita is totally different now The atmosphere is depressing, it's confusing if you should order on a screen or with a person, the whole place just has this weird ghost town vibe The service is excessively slow. It was slow before but worth it because the food was good and it wasn't TOO slow. Now it is really slow, enough I no longer look forward to going there.

I really like Olivers and I look forward to updating my review in the future if there is...
