Show & Shine Deli Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

Since the change of ownership in July 2024 the Show & Shine Deli Cafe has deteriorated in quality food, service and atmosphere. The new lessee is rude to the local patron, the young staff are inexperienced and slovenly, the food is not cooked properly, it errs on the side of raw or undercooked. There is no longer a deli as per se. Even though the original owner trained up the new owner before handing over the shop, the new lessee changed the menu. The new lessee does not manage the cafe professionally, she is always running out of stock. The new owner uses inexperienced and young staff. I'd have to say these may be my favourite pies. Be warned they are messy. The golden pastry is flavourful, flakey and buttery. The fillings are stellar. I've not had a flavour that wasn't great. None of them are overpowering in taste but still quiet palatable. The amount of filling is where these pies beyond excell. Beef, cheese and bacon you're obviously finding all these ingredients in obvious and good quality pieces/amounts and not a pie stuffed with jelly slop. The salmon, corn and asparagus pie had salmon pieces that big that I showed the boys fishing and got catch of the day. ;) The ladies are also always a pleasure to see.
