Asked and ordered a “skinny flat white” and a “lactose free chai” and was told both these milk options were available. However, we were given a full-cream latte and and full-cream chai. When we questioned the incorrect order, we were shown the docket from the kitchen as ‘proof’ - however this only indicates that the counter did not place the correct order.

The chicken pesto toastie was great, turkey wrap was nice and caramel slice was yummy.

We were told we had to pay cash after we had already ordered - luckily it came under $50 and that’s the only note we had. Only a few minutes after we ordered the machine and wifi were miraculously restored (apparently a blue light means it’s working
the machine had a blue light when we ordered.) I would suggest a sign or perhaps letting customers know prior to ordering.

While the exterior and interior are very cute and clean, the service, especially that of the baristas and wait staff, and the incorrect coffee order (I personally am lactose intolerant, so my full-cream milk chai wasn’t very pleasant), really let a place that we were keen on stopping at...

What a gem we found on our way to Sydney!

If you’re passing through or staying nearby, please do yourself a favour and stop by this place—you won’t regret it!

The customer service was excellent—everyone was so warm and welcoming. The space is stylish and cozy, with lovely details like the mirror, wall dĂ©cor, and displays. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into it.

Now, let’s talk about the food! We had breakfast here and the sandwiches were incredible—generous portions, high-quality ingredients, and super fresh (which is actually hard to find where we’re from—Brisbane!). Both sandwiches were full of flavour, and the relish was amazing. We also had cappuccinos that were spot on—so good we grabbed another one to go!

And for the sweet tooth—OMG, that Nutella cookie! Hands down, the best I’ve ever had—and I’m not just saying that. Packed with flavour, loaded with real nuts for a perfect crunch, and the dough was just divine.

Thank you so much for the great service! If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be...

A harmonious blend of robust flavour and rustic comfort, the steak and pepper pie offered a deeply satisfying taste experience. The filling was superbly seasoned the pepper lending a gentle heat that complemented the tender, slow-cooked beef without overwhelming its richness. Each bite carried the depth of a well-reduced gravy, its umami tones balanced by the slight piquancy of cracked black pepper.

However, where the filling excelled, the structural integrity faltered. The pastry, though buttery and golden at first glance, lacked the firmness needed to contain the hearty contents. It crumbled prematurely, compromising the tactile experience and forcing the pie to be consumed more as a stew than a hand-held delight.

In essence, a pie of culinary promise bold in flavour, yet...

Whilst returning from Tamworth last weekend we stopped at Willow Tree and the Plains Pantry! Our socks were knocked off by the cinnamon scroll - omg the sugar hit! So scrumptious, aroma, caramelised to the max we bought one to go as well. They were on the counter and the visual temptation was overwhelming. Our savoury breakfasts were fresh, the bacon thick cut, was delicious, eggs, mushrooms and SD toast all terrific, coffee another highlight, all whilst sitting outside at a high table watching the world go by on a beautiful Sunday morning. Well done to the staff and owners, what an absolute pleasure. The shop has tons of food and home wares for additional spontaneous and unintentional purchases.
