Coffee and cake were delicious 😋 Sadly I found the service was disappointing and the waitress was rude. A friend had encouraged me explore this delightful cafe-gifts-nursery setting on my was south. Arriving for afternoon tea i was happy to sit and take in the surroundings. After 15 minutes at the table without a menu I wondered if I was meant to order at the counter. I politely asked a passing waitress if counter or table service. Instead of answering my query she rudely called loudly as she passed “we’ll get to you when we can!”. The waitress’ response was an attempt to shut me down/shame me for asking for understandable direction. Her rudeness was unexpected and unwarranted, and ruined my dining experience. This traveller will be back for gifts and plants but I’ll drive elsewhere for my...

Husband and I have been here twice in the past week. Once as new arrivals to the area searching for a restaurant serving a late breakfast and a good coffee. We found both here. The coffee was a nice dark roast and well made. The Turkish bread that came with our eggs was delicious and my poached eggs were perfect. On our second visit we came back with friends for lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. We were never pressured by the staff to hurry and they provided excellent service. Our meals were tasty and well prepared. Corn fritters, Asian salad, burger and special of the day, veggie frittata. Everyone left happy and well fed. The only less than stellar item was a friand I purchased to go. The cake was tough and gluey in texture. Otherwise I would highly recommend...

IT'S A SECRET!!! Absolutely a DON'T MISS experience in food, atmosphere and the BEST homewares and gift shop available in Coffs Harbour. As a local, I was blown away how fantastic my luncheon visit was. My first time and most certainly not my last. I loved it. It's a shame it's been kept so SECRET, now I'm sharing with everyone. I will be getting there early as now the SECRET is out there, I'll be worried about not getting a parking spot. Save your pennies for the Gift Shop, a delightful addition to the restaurant. I only can hope that other's share the SECRET so they'll be there for a long long time. Top marks from me. I'll be buying my Christmas gifts there for sure and birthdays and other...

The name Secret Garden is perfect. This cafe, nursery and gift shop is off the usual tourist area of Sawtell. It is so picturesque and if you sit outside you can really appreciate the big shady trees and garden environment. They have all day breakfast and lunch. You can choose freshly cooked treats from the cabinet including scones and muffins. When you are finished at the cafe you can wander around the gift shop or nursery. There is plenty of parking for all size vehicles. You definitely don't want to miss this quaint cafe that is a secret that only the locals know about. We enjoyed a delicious omelette and coffee.

I have lived in the area for 7 years now and only recently learnt of the existence of " Garden Mania Lifestyle Centre". That being the home of this charming little cafe that sits very nicely alongside a plant nursery and gift shop. Upon exploring the grounds, I found myself overwhelmed with emotion as I admired the serene beauty that encompassed me. I must get myself back their soon for breakfast as I couldn't help but notice how amazing one of the customers plates looked with poached egg and crispy bacon.

A little gem of a cafe to call into off the motorway. Easy access north or south. Only takes a minute. Great food, garden location with attached little plant nursery & gift shop. Indoor & outdoor dining options. Highly recommend- preferably call & book ahead. As can get busy with bookings. Loved it
