I have been several times and the view of the ocean from this seaside cafe are lovely. A nice mix indoor and outdoor seating as well as some shady outdoor seating options. Good for early starters as they open at 5am and close after lunch on most days apart from Friday when they re-open for dinner in the warmer months. There is the usual mix of tasty food options and good-sized portions. There are several burger and seafood options on the menu as well as several pasta options and daily specials. They do not appear to have that many gluten-free options and the GF bread is not as tasty as it used to be. I’ve yet to try the breakfast options but they look delicious. The staff are friendly and the meals are presented very nicely and delivered pretty quickly after you order at the counter. The coffee is also pretty good and they seem to have a loyal customer base. One downside is that are they are not a cheap option especially on weekends when they hit you up for a surcharge on both Saturdays and Sundays. They also really need to do something about the infestation of the hanging plants directly above some of the indoor dining seating, not a good look and it makes you wonder if something will fall off the plants into your meal. All in all, a good casual dining option albeit a bit on the...

I won't be back. I took my daughter there to have afternoon tea yesterday. We walked into the shop and up to the counter. Both girls behind the counter were busy so we looked at the food while we waited and decided what we would have, then approached the counter for a second time. One girl turned around and said I won't be long. We waited again for another 5 minutes or so before the second girl turned around to serve us. She asked what we wanted and I said I'd have a cappuccino and before I could say anything else she then said is it takeaway? Because we're closed and as soon as we can get these people (she waved her hand out over the other customers) out of here we're going home. Their opening hours said 4.00. We were there at 3.30. If they were closing early they could have said I'm sorry we're closed when we walked in the shop and we would have said ok thank you and left. But instead they made us wait and the second girl was rude to us and to the customers who were still sitting at...

Looked a bit busy so that may have been a factor with our meal and drinks, but was still a bit on the pricey side for the servings.

We ordered an eggs benedict and an eggs on toast, both with a coffee. Neither bread was actually toasted so it was very tough and doughy - nice sour flavour from the sourdough though. Paid extra for avocado and received five small slices on the side. Food has been expensive lately, but you can buy an entire avocado if not two for the same price.

Coffee was to be a little brutal, quite rubbish. This is where I think being busy may have let the cafe down. Iced Long black was weak and lacking colour and iced latte was bitter even with honey.

We stopped in as we were passing through the town and seen the great reviews. Maybe we came on an off day but it let us down a bit. Three stars still because we could see the thought and care that went into presentation and the atmosphere, we just wish we had a better...

Great spot with great outdoor seating and views of the water. You have to find your own seat and grab your own menus then line up to order. We had to join the long queue to order which took a while. No kids meals unfortunately that we could find or were told about. You can amend meals to make them smaller but are charged the same price so if you have kids, could get a bit pricey. The food was nice though and my chai latte was good as well. Most of the staff were really friendly, the girl behind the till seemed a bit robotic with taking orders. She advised that the dine in milkshake was bigger than a takeaway milkshake but was only served in a fancy glass but seemed potentially the same or smaller than the takeaway size. This was my second visit here (first was pre-covid) and would be happy to return again if I’m in the area.

: Disappointing Experience This place was packed during the winter rush, and I waited over 20 minutes just for two $5.20 hot chocolates. Which was lukewarm warm and gritty.. While I was looking forward to a cozy drink with a marshmallow, the ambiance wasn't great. It was loud due to the crowd, and the constant flow of people in and out made it chilly. On top of that, it felt cramped inside, and there were accessibility issues like no clear disability access or restrooms (though there were bathrooms available). Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Stopped into the lovely positioned cafe for breakfast. It’s a great location and the staff were good but my coffee didn’t hit the spot (espresso was astringent). My chorizo and potato hash was good. The eggs Benedict had a great homemade hollandaise sauce but the sourdough bread was just a bit too tough. Service by waitstaff was ok but just lacked that eye for detail (it’s a tough time for getting staff I know). It’s only these couple of things that dropped my overall score. I think it’s still a good place for breakfast and would tell people to go to.
