Fantastic venue. We arrived and were apprised by the great outdoor amphitheatre setup and immediately thought how great this winery would be for live concerts. The restaurant and bar sit in a great building on top of a Ridge overlooking a picturesque lake with cute donkys that you can buy food for, which would be a bit with the kids. We ordered lunch, and both had the pies which did not disappoint. I had the beef pie and my wife had the chicken and leak. The pies are made in house and the chef really knows what they are doing as they were delicious. Served with a generous portion of hot chips and a crash crispy garden salad it went down a treat. I had a schooner of the larger from the brewery and my wife went with the apple cider, both of which were excellent. After lunch we headed inside and sampled a few wines with a wine tasting session and ended up coming away with two reds, a white and a tawny fortified wine. Service was excellent and we had a great chat with one of the owners who have us some really helpful tips to help us on our holiday.

This is really a neighbourhood gem. Absolutely love this place. It’s a very small distance from the Central Tilba shops so quite convenient after a good shopping trip. There’s heaps of on-site parking. They have multiple wine and ale options (their own) as well as spirits. I really liked their pale ale. We were lucky as it was a festival of sorts so the place was buzzing with activities including a live band. It was quite packed but there’s always a spot you can find to sit - if not sit on the grass and enjoy your wine. We ordered their fish tacos and bread with 3 dips. If you go through my pics you’ll see that the 2 fish tacos was quite generous. I absolutely love their eggplant dip. Yum! I can’t wait to come here again

Tilba Valley is a hidden gem that perfectly combines charm and natural beauty! The scenery is absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and lush landscapes that invite you to explore. The historic village of Central Tilba offers quaint shops, local crafts, and delicious homemade treats. It’s a great spot for a leisurely stroll, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The nearby Tilba Tilba is equally charming and provides fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. Overall, Tilba Valley is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful escape in a picturesque setting!

On Easter Saturday I had a wonderful day with family from NSW and Melbourne at the Tilba Valley Winery. The weather was good and the beautiful outdoor setting is perfect for grown-ups, kids and dogs to relax. My grandkids loved feeding the friendly donkeys and cows. The food was just right for lunch – my frittata accompanied by a crisp Riesling was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the live music was great as background while we were talking and great to move up close and listen to later in the afternoon. I left a jumper behind and Carly chased up my enquiry and cheerfully posted it back to me. I would...
