Valhalla Restaurant and Bar is such a beautiful place for a wedding, a hidden gem we were so lucky to have found from the magical drive way to the pine forest and the rustic and intimate feel you get from the first moment you walk through the door. The staff are beautiful and welcoming we were so lucky to have Indigo as our wedding coordinator up until the day she is amazing and very professional at what she does, she replies fast, has a friendly and bubbly personality and is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Her love for the place made us fall even more in love with it. She Helped us in every way she could and answered all our questions no matter how silly they were. We started with a wedding coordinator and ended up with a friendship. Indigo showed us around and let us come and see the place as many times as we wanted to get a feel of how we were going to set it up and gave us suggestions too all while planning her own wedding which was the day before ours. She still made us a priority even on the week of the wedding she was still in contact and checking in on us. Kirra was our Coordinator on the day and she was absolutely fantastic, she made sure everything was running smoothly, checked in on us multiple times, took us to all the wedding photo locations, became an honorary bridesmaid helping me with my train and doing up my bustle to get it out of the mud, had the bug spray for us all, just truly there for you to make sure you have the most amazing day and we did. We thank you both for everything. Big props to Julian for bringing the place to life with all your handy work and for giving us advice on the day while setting up. You have truly made this place something special. Our wedding was a magical real-life fairy-tale even though it ended up raining the wet weather option was just as beautiful. All of the colours on the vines and on the trees really brought it to life and made our ceremony. It’s a very relaxing and chilled space which everyone loved, it wasn’t so up tight like a normal wedding, the atmosphere and the staff are great. Not to mention all you can eat wood-fired pizza (which was amazing) and endless garlic bread how could you not love this place and for a fair price. We had the most amazing day; Valhalla will always hold a special place in our hearts, we will definitely be back. The numerous spots to have photos on the property makes for an amazing range for your wedding photos, every area makes it seem like you are in a completely different place and you don’t even have to leave Valhalla to do it. This helped a lot with keeping time on the day and not having to transport the bridal party and us around to different locations. They also have some cheeky Scottish highland cows which also make for some cute photos. Valhalla really does have something for everybody whether it be for a sit down or a cocktail wedding with beautiful scenery and amazing staff that go above and beyond. This place is truly where the coast meets the country and an amazing venue to make your wedding day something really special. Love the Camposes xo

Four of us came at about 5:40 PM and we were seated on a very small table. They had a wedding that night and blocked off half of the area. We ordered at the register, which is where the bar area is. We then requested to get a bigger table as we ordered quite a lot of food. The waitress said that they were fully booked and that’s the only table they have (by the time we left at almost 7 pm, 3/4 of the tables were still empty). We insisted on getting a bigger table because the table we originally sat on was clearly wasn’t big enough for 4 of us. So we finally moved to a long table. When the foods came, we weren’t given cutleries. So we had to walk to the register and grab cutleries for ourselves. The foods were bland - the pizza, ribs, and squid. When we asked for salt and pepper (again, at the register because there wasn’t any staff surrounding us?? The staffs were clearly more focused on the wedding area.), they gave us sachets of salt and pepper. The ribs were tender but lack flavor. I do, however, really like the salad that came with it. Some of the wedding guests’ kids were running around our table and nearly bumped us. At about 6:50 pm, the lights were turned off in our area. Not sure why that happened. I am sure the venue is a beautiful place for a wedding. It has plenty of parking spots and nice grass area. My suggestion is: - Add more staffs when you have a wedding on and still want to open the restaurant, or - Close off the restaurant when there’s a wedding

Highly recommended, we have always driven past and wondered ! so decided for an early dinner and drive up from Newy to see while throwing in a beach swim afterwards. A good location and setting and look forward to returning to a more feisty Viking time for eating to enjoy a more rowdy atmosphere. (We specifically chose an early time to go to fit in with plans on a Sunday so it was a little quiet at that time ) The ribs were some of the best in the region not to mention the best price and the crispy squid is recommended as well. Great beers on tap to boot.. the Chicken pesto pizza was the bomb along with the Nutella and Banana calzone for desert. Definitely on the list to come back too.. as with any good feast the aftermath is more important than the presentation, with the lack of leftovers I’m sure it’s says it was good.

My amazing daughter has just finished her Uni degree and we offered to buy her dinner anywhere she wanted in Australia. Well, she wanted to have dinner here! We had never been to the Valhalla Restaurant Bar before but she had and after reading the reviews, on here no, I wasn’t convinced that we were going to enjoy the meal. WELL…. Ignore many of the negative reviews because the pizza was amazing! There was live music and the stunningly majestic highlands cattle added a unique touch to the experience. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had a four unique flavours of pizza. The 149km drive from the Central Coast was worth it. We will definitely be back!
