Really disappointed in the food I just bought. The supposed scotch fillet steak sandwich was dreadfully tough, a big lump of gristle made it impossible to chew through, the cook would have known this was less than satisfactory to put on a steak sandwich as the steak wouldn’t have cooked flat due to that big tough lump. Way too much sauce made the rest of the sandwich inedible. Waste of $12.50. Battered savs were overcooked one side and undercooked the other, I really don’t know how they managed to do that. My partners chicken burger was unappetising as the chicken was very chewy; again, too much sauce on his burger. Chips were ok. Friendly service.

Ordered their brisket loaded fries (like always haha) but tonight I asked for extra sauces on my uber eats order and got this little “extra” with my delivery 🤣🤣 I bursted out laughing so whoever it was thank you for making my day🤣 I low key wanna keep the box and receipt just for the humour 🤣

Went to Cooranbong to grab a feed after a day in the mountains - this little beauty did not disappoint!! Friendly service, decent prices, shirt wait time, open during covid on a weekend, and best chips, calamari and cake I've had in a long while!! Cheers guys, will definitely be back 👌🏼

I recommend updating hours on your web page and hiring nicer employees. My husband wanted me to rate one star as we have had poor service from here previously but most times the food is nice so I’ve given it a two based on overall experience. We had checked the web page for the shops hours before driving in. When we got there we asked the staff for a menu and they were rude about it. We started to put in an order and they said “you can’t eat here”. It was the tone that bothered me. I asked if they were closing early as I had viewed the web page and I got the response- “your meant to check our Facebook page”- followed by an eye roll. I explained I didn’t know they had a Facebook so I would check it out. Another employee joined in what seemed to be an arguing tone- “ its winter and it’s Googles fault the hours are wrong because they won’t let us update them.” I started to explain how to update hours if they needed to do it for the seasonal changes and a third person came over and said, “we told you it’s not our fault” We left without putting in an order as we felt uncomfortable. Everything seemed a bother to them in the short time we were there and the 3 employees were standing at the counter complaining about us coming in 15mins to...

I popped in here yesterday with my brother after we went to my mum's grave to put flowers on it for a feed. Although we were told there would be a half an hour wait for the sandwiches we had ordered, it was a fantastic feed and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The store has changed so much in the years since the 80's (used to live on Freeman's Drive back then), and has undergone a refurbishment. The cafe has become rather popular too, as when we went, it was rather packed......up until around 3pm, where it died down. If you come here, don't come around lunch time......unless you want to wait half an hour or more to get you meal. Other than that, the meals are fantastic and enjoyable and this cafe makes for a pleasant stop if travelling north via Freeman's...

Turned up with a takeaway order for 20, without warning and staff were great. Everything was packed up for us beautifully, the chips never got squashed or soggy and everything was clearly labelled even too which chips had chicken salt and wich didn't. The loaded hot dogs were a huge hit with the kids who wolfed them down before any parent could request 'tax' or 'service fee'. I had the filler steak sandwich with the works. It was a massive sandwich (I was sure I'd find 2 as I unwrapped) and so we'll put together that even as I ate the sandwich held it's shape and didn't drip everywhere. The burgers we ordered also seemed to hold together really well. Portions in everything were really generous and we all went home feeling well fed....
