Food was so good, chicken parmi's were the size of plates, steaks big and cooked perfect, great food, friendly staff, worth the drive

This little gem is accessed by a quite tar road heading North South. There are good cabins and beautiful views

I was wanting to make a formal complaint on the little bearded guy who works here (he said his name is Jack) Myself and a mate are camping in swags at the Wyangala reflection park and leaving early tomorrow. We decided to pack up most of the camp this afternoon so we can go for a meal at the country club. We walked in, signed in and after asking the young girl behind the bar if the bistro was still open she sent us to ask the bistro ladies . They said it’s all good to order. But as we were reading the menu, a man approached us from behind and said that we’re both too intoxicated to drink, and he is refusing service. We politely told him we are only here to get some dinner and a bit of warmth. His reply was we are being refused food and alcohol service and we need to leave the property immediately. I hadn’t had a single alcoholic beverage and this guy who told me his name was “Jack” wouldn’t even give us the courtesy of buying a bottle of water. I told him I’m driving and I have a breathalyser in the car if you want me to prove it. He was very agitated and aggressive. Almost like he had an issue with us even though we’d never met (highly judgemental). Clearly he needs a refresher with his RSA as he is legally required to give a bottle of water after refusing service due to intoxication. We were forced to drive 45 minutes to Cowra, dodging kangaroos just to get a bit of food. Never ever will I go back to this place and I’ll make sure anyone I send to Wyangala will steer rear too. Well done little bar boy Jack with a beard you have lost valuable customers. Very disappointing Regards, Brett and Josh...
