First and last time eating here. Ordered the prawn and chorizo tacos only to find that when you bite into the battered prawns in the taco they are NOT fully shelled. So you end up with a mouthful of shell. The flavour of the dish was excellent but ruined by mouthfuls of shell. I mentioned this to one of the waitresses as I was leaving not for a refund but to point out that the prawns need to be shelled fully. She rolled her eyes and said you leave the shell on because that locks in the flavour when cooking and that’s how you serve finger food. I replied “ not in tacos you don’t. But if that’s the case then you need to say that on the menu or at least warn people when they order “. She scoffed and said that’s how we have always done it and will keep doing it. No one has ever complained before. She then just turned her back and walked away. THIS ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS IS WHY I...

What a great cafe in the perfect setting alongside a plant nursery. With a beautiful pond of Japanese Koi fish leisurely swimming beside the outdoor decking it can be a very calming place to eat.

I love anywhere that has a peanut butter thickshake, so I was happy the moment I read the menu, but I also enjoyed their french toast dessert and the excellent avocado toast with feta and lemon.

On my third visit I had the hash browns which felt more like very excellently baked potatoes, mixed with bacon and a poached egg.

I just experienced the waffles, oh my, excellent with the coffee mascarpone, banana, biscoff and honeycomb pieces sure to delight. I think the peanut butter thickshake was better this time as...

Ordered breakfast and coffee and juices. Really small cups for coffee. Ordered syrups . Arrived serving us the wrong orders- mixed up coffees- served luke warm- no syrups. Waited for a really really long time for food. Checked docket when we paid to get facts straight.. most people exaggerate wait times. 50 minutes later food arrived. Dish of Dukkah eggs underwhelming for the price. No bana ganouche so missed elements. Menu not descriptive so gluten products arrive but are not listed on menu. Another dish arrived also mussing elements. Table clearing very slow and table had to be wiped from previous patrons on request. Coffee ordinary. Service fair. Food ok but needs better checking...

Wylde Oak Cafe is a hidden gem! This unique spot combines an extensive nursery with a delightful cafe and kids' playground, making it a perfect destination for families. The food is top-notch - I enjoyed the seafood linguine, while my family members raved about their toasties, chicken nuggets, chips, and calamari. The coffee is also exceptional, with a great balance of espresso and milk, lovely latte art, and perfect temperature. The verandah area overlooking the nursery is serene and calming, with plenty of seating. Despite being full, the atmosphere remained surprisingly relaxed and quiet, allowing for easy conversation. I highly recommend Wylde Oak Cafe for a fun and memorable experience!

On a rainy Saturday morning when this cafe was bursting at the seams with customers we were able to easily get a table. The staff were exceptional and showed no sign of being overwhelmed. The food was absolutely perfect, we went with Spanish eggs with a hash brown and Turkish eggs with chorizo and both were absolutely demolished. So much flavour in these dishes and paired with allpress coffee... amazing. We will definitely be back to this little gem of a cafe.
