The Blind Chef food by Maia — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

While the food was good I am highly disappointed that, the man I believe is the head chef (black chef jacket, older man) had the hide to approach my nephew and his friend (3 and 4 years old) to have ago at them over playing with balloons that were left behind by another party at the lounge in the corner.

There was a table if adults that were there watching them that this man could have approached. The younger man at the register, when my nephews other Aunty asked what the hell had happened, both him and the older gentleman accused the 2 kids of destruction of property.

There was a small texta mark on the table from when they were colouring and we apologised for this and they said it was fine.

Called into the Blind Chef Cafe in Guyra this morning and had breakfast it was delicious and the young lady who served me was exceptionally friendly and polite l had scrambled eggs and crispy bacon with fried tomatoes and toast cooked to perfection and the cappuccino in a mug was amazing 🤩 When travelling the New England Highway well worth the stop heaps of parking and straight across from the cafe is the NAB parking ideal for motor homes or caravan parking Highly recommend the Blind Chef Cafe in Guyra Please see attached...

My first time this evening. Attended to by two lovely young staff members. Ordered $20 blackboard special of 200g local steak, salad, chips gravy.
