Spent 1night there. $36 for a powered site. Couldn't book in advance and had to take pot luck if anything was available but there is lots of space. Was so busy and full of caravans but got a powered site and it was so good there.

Had dinner in the pub, paid my gold donation so I could staple a couple photos of myself and my horses on to the bar (look to the right hand corner of the bar :) )

The dinner we had was chicken schnitzel with salad and it was huge. Got a doggy bag to take some back to the van for lunch the following day, was pretty nice. The entertainment on the night was a couple singing. They were really good and the song selection was good. Really enjoyed ourselves there.

The pub staff were all fantastic. Professional, working damn hard to bring our food out to us all but very nice at the same time. The owner should be proud of all his workers, even down to the guy on the quad bike directing us to our parking spot with our camper van when we first arrived, he was just really nice to talk to and gave us the time and day regardless that he was so busy. Toilets and showers are ok, have seen worse but lots here to choose from.

The town/pub is about 3 km off the highway. When you drive in it is like stepping back in time with cows and a goat roaming the street. Would definitely come back if ever i was down...

Purely informational for people considering staying here with small children or animals. We booked a pet friendly room, upon arriving and entering the cabin it was obvious they had recently set off a bug bomb or at the very least sprayed what smelled like an entire can of bug spray. I couldn’t have stayed there myself let alone expose my family and pets to that. We were in the room for less than 30 seconds before kindly requesting a refund. We were told this would be actioned by the office the following morning. I’m not sure if there was a communication misunderstanding between the person we spoke to and whoever was on duty in the office this morning but our request for a refund has been denied. If the room wasn’t full of noxious fumes we would have happily stayed there. This review is not to be a jerk or put down a business, simply letting others know the possibility of strong pest control fumes so they can weigh up if they can deal with that. We are out $200 due to no fault of our own. I wish this business the best going forward and hope they will consider changing their use of toxic chemicals in confined spaces where pets and young children...

2025 - The second caravan has the toilets inoperative … none working A New and improved laundry with at least 6 washing machines and 4 dryers or attached drying area for clothes should be done invested or upgraded.. The second caravan park area lacks shades and trees so an intelligent re-think of the reuse of used and septic waters for irrigation of new planted trees (fast growing)would help as investment and upgrade … An upgrade on some units or old houses to be used as two room or one room to rent with the same aspect as the original village would return a good cash and it is a improvement to be done in future Staff Some staff needs to be more friendly and should be motivated to treat clients as they want and expect after they walk around at arrival and feel the Daly waters “spirit” … a kind of free and hippie love and peace far west mood and lifestyle But some staff are there just doing it for the job ignoring they are the real actors of the Dally Waters Spirit so they need to learn how be less robotic and factory minded … Hope it will last for more 100 years Daly...

The camping area is basic, you are crammed in at busier times and overflow unpowered can be into gravel/carpark like areas. Currently if you happen to end up in the wrong spot there is a bad sewage smell. This is not in the whole park it is mainly around the toilets and tent area near the unpowered that is at the back of the pub. If you happen to be there and downwind from the toilets that are there then you will cop it. Its horrible. This has been commented on in other reviews and considering how busy this place is i reckon its really dodgy that this issue persists. Those that haven’t smelt it are simply camped in a different area. The amenities are ok, yes it’s a unique spot, an eclectic pub with lots of cute stuff and having now been there once I personally wont bother to do a second visit. Theres a weak to non existent Telstra mobile signal, it was fine to make a call but useless for data as the park was packed with campers. No broadcast TV signal. Massive lines at dinner time to order, consider getting to the bar area early and order if you want to eat. Theres no wifi.

We arrived at the pub and paid for a powered site for the night. After a quick set up we went for a beer leaving our tent for 30 minutes. When we returned we found our tent trampled with the poles snapped in half and a large horse poo on it. There was no food in our tent that would attract the horse. We went to staff with the issue as we had no where to sleep for the night. The bar staff showed complete disregard for the inconvenience stating it wasnt their problem because horses are wild animals. Staff refused to provide us alternative accommodation for the mishap at a decent price stating the best they could do was a $150 pub room. Disgusted by the lack of empathy displayed by the staff, especially management who would not come out and speak to us. Forced us to try to find alternative accomodation late in the afternoon. Im thankful my partner or I were not in the tent at the time. Being in such an isolated area you would assume the management would be more accommodating. I would not recommend staying here unless they get their horses and wild animals behind a fence.
