Sorry for the length but I like to be thorough so the business can work on improving, rather than a short bullet point review. Firstly I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, the place is new and fresh, they look like they are working so hard and I love supporting a local business - here's our experience:
We went there for Fathers day brekkie (2 adults & 2 kids under 5) I'm a pretty chill guy we had an hour to spare and thought that would be plenty of time - ordered RMC Brunch and Bacon and Scrambled Eggs (with extra eggs and 2 x Hashbrowns for the kids and a chocolate milkshake) came to about $44 so around the benchmark for 2 good main meals eating out, so nothing to cry about.
My real issue is that it took nearly a full hour after we ordered to get the food, 3 tables who arrived after us received, ate and left before we got our food - which was pretty much just 2 x bacon and egg meals no special requests or anything fancy.
The bread was harder than a crouton in a Caesar salad, wood like splinters shoot off as I tried to cut into it. They forgot the extra eggs and hash browns, I reminded and they still forgot the eggs but brought out these "house made" (according to the menu) hash things that tasted and looked like a mass produced hash from a corner fish and chip store - think deep fried deb fake potato cake. I wouldn't care if it was or $1 or $2 a pop but $4.5ea for a home made hashie, I want a damn good home made hash brown!
On a good point the scrambled eggs were great, tasty fresh and hot. The kids loved the milkshake and shared that. However the Poached eggs were basically hard boiled and solid throughout no gooey goodness for us!
I hope they improve on their service, there was no long lines at the counter, the joint was steady busy but not off the charts so I would think 15-30 min a pretty reasonable time to wait for breakfast. Any parent can attest keeping two toddlers calm for an hour while sitting in a cafe is no fun experience, unless you're dosing them with an iPad!
If it is going to take an hour for breakfast just make the food great and this review would be very...
Read moreSo we found this Cafe on Menu log about 2 months ago and have had nothing to complain about when it came to the taste of their food.
Our Favourites are definitely the sweet Chili Korean Fried Chicken. Absolutely delicious with the right amount of sauce, the Bao buns and dumplings. Everything is absolutely delicious!
Now we have moved close by and I have had the coffee 2 days in a row. The coffee is absolutely delicious, It's strong and doesn't taste burnt.
Now let's talk the customer service. Again fantastic experience. The woman was so friendly. I am looking forward to coming here for breakfast on weekends with my partner.
UPDATE
Im updating my review to 2 stars which I didn't think I would be doing. My reasoning is that the times on google, their website and Facebook page are different. We have attempted to order dinner from here on a few occasions only to be let down due to them being closed yet there has been a lack of communication to the customers with nothing on their shop window nor their FB page. For me communication and customer service are what makeup a large part of my reviews so this is a major let down for such a...

I had been to this cafe a number of times previously but never since new management so thought we'd give it a try for lunch today. It was very disappointing - if cafes are going to do the lunch trade they need to be timely - we waited well over 40 minutes for 2 Vietnamese salads! The lady who took our order was friendly and welcoming.
When they arrived they were quite small in size, let alone for the price. I expected to have a large serve for $23 but was disappointed with the small portion of chicken and the flavours weren't impressive. When I buy a similar salad from the markets or other similar Viet cafes, they are bigger, half the price and have a lot more flavour. I don't mind paying for good food but I draw the line at being ripped off for...
