This place is only for royalty! Only emperors! The treatment is top notch for a dusty desert town in the middle of no where. I have tasted in restaurants around Alice Springs and none has come to give a feast than this one. In all my dining in Alice Springs over a span of 6 years, I have spent the most amount of money in one sitting in this restaurant! And the repeat two weekends in a row...speaks volumes. On the menu, my favourite and my family's new favourite is the cubed wagyu steak. Oh my oh my oh my, it literally melts in your mouth. Nothing else I have tasted in Australia can match this! The only other steak that may come close or match this one is in Capetown South Africa! Their mocktails maybe a little bit too syrupy sweet but well presented and flavour full. Their noodles were not my thing, but all the other foods were very good. General Tso's chicken was mouth watering. Definitely should be a part of every feast. The restaurant is clean! Everything is neat inside. The bar is a central feature and present well with the ambience of the place. The only thing amiss is the canvas sign post outside that has the restaurant name..tacky. I am sure signage can be improved. Staff are friendly and very responsive. Patrons are a trendy crowd. Location is a little known corner of town. Makes for a very quiet environment away from all the hassles of the kids in town! The Feast is a...
Read moreWhat’s happened?? I’ve eaten here before several times and the orange chicken was delicious.. this time however it was terribly bland.. zero flavour and way below standards of a restaurant let alone one that charges you a premium. Very disappointed. 😞
Take 2: Rang to advise I was ordering again as requested. Service couldn’t give two hoots 😂 .. neither could I actually but I was just doing as I was asked. The honey soy wing entree was great, perfect very nice. The roast duck ($44 worth) was all bones as pictured… worse it was a lot of micro bones so was just annoying to eat for a start. There was a smidgen of plum sauce which was a watery substance that couldn’t rescue the bony duck from the excessive amounts of salt 😣 As you can see from pics.. we ate everything because we were hungry but we really had to work for each morsel of meat amongst the bones. Sorry but take 2 was another flop 🤷🏼♂️ too salty too bony to be overly enjoyable but may come back for...
Read moreI had an amazing dinner at The Feast tonight! Everything was absolutely delicious. The Sweet & Sour Pork was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. The Three Cup Chicken was incredibly flavorful, with a rich, aromatic sauce that coated the tender chicken beautifully. The Fried Rice was cooked to perfection, with just the right texture and seasoning, making it a great complement to the dishes.
For drinks, I tried the Summer Punch, and it was so refreshing! It had a great mix of fruity flavors that complemented the meal perfectly.
The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all fantastic. I’ll definitely be...
