Located at Wine Country Drive, Nulkaba, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This was a really lovely place to have lunch on our visit to the Hunter Valley. We were looking for somewhere to have a nice meal and literally came across this place by chance. I had the Honey BBQ Grilled Prawns and they were delicious 😋. I also shared a serving of the garlic bread with my friend and it was also amazing. It’s a really well designed establishment with the tables spread out, not squashed in. The large lounge was a big plus. I loved the actual brewery and the old kiln’s on the property. They add a great touch to the overall look of the place. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Answering our questions with a smile. So helpful. The prices are very reasonable and the live entertainment in the forecourt was great. The menu had a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from, a bit extra than your typical bistro menu. There’s plenty of parking 🅿️ and very good toilet 🚻 facilities, including accessible toilets. I would definitely recommend visiting, a big thumbs up from me! 👍👍👍

I really like the atmosphere and decor of this place. We sat on a table on the lawn in the sun and it was great. The beer selection was great too. When we arrived about 130pm, we were told there was no space for walk-ins at the restaurant, luckily I had made a booking that morning. The place didn’t even seem that full though. The staff were also up front and said it would be an hour wait for food, which was a bit annoying. Once the food came it was delicious, however my schnitzel could have been bigger for the price. I hope this pub can get some more staff in the kitchen so the meals can come out faster because that is the only missing link I can see at this stage. I hope it improves because I would come here every weekend. Would also like to see some live music or acoustic musicians maybe on weekends to add to the chill atmosphere.

We had lunch at The Mighty Hunter Valley on New Years Day. We had stayed at the Potters Apartment so it was convenient to have a restaurant nearby our accommodation. The staff here in The Mighty Hunter valley were very friendly, accommodating and obeys the Covid-19 policies. They did checked our IDs and to see which suburb we came from and make sure we weren't from Covid hotspot places. They made sure that we put on some hand sanitiser as well. The food here was great as well. Ordered steak with potato gratin, foghorn golden ale pie, salmon with salad and chips for the todder. The potato gratin was so good and the pie as well. However, the salmon was a little bit dry and needs some dressing and chips were cold when it was given to us. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

While the grounds are lovely and the rooms are very nice from the outside and very large inside they are really in need of renovations and some updated furniture. The walls badly need a paint and the furniture is very old and worn. The table in our unit was glass topped and not very clean. It wobbled on its legs so much it was hard to sit at. There is a lovely pub at the front of the location but unfortunately it was not open on the nights we stayed except for one (even though when we rang them prior to arriving they said they would be) and there is no other place to eat at unless you want to drive to them so we had to improvise. We tried to use the oven and cooktop but they are so old that it was very difficult to heat anything up. I really thought that places would have used the long lock down we have just come out of to make sure everything would be sparkling clean and everything in working order. The dust on the lamps and lamp bulbs was an inch thick. Surely these accommodation places should be making sure everything has been cleaned for people to stay especially because of Covid. I had to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes just to make sure. Don't rely on the reception area being open as it is closed most of the time. I rang to confirm my booking and had to leave a message but I am still waiting on the phone call back and we have been home for 4 days now. It is very disappointing as we were really looking forward to getting away for a few days after being in lock down for so long. The area is lovely to go for a visit though I just probably wouldn't...

We were incredibly disappointed with the level of cleanliness at this "resort". Our checkin/arrival was late in the afternoon/early evening. When we entered the room where we were greeted by a used disposable ravour in the bathroom bin, dead bugs in the bath itself, and cobwebs and dust in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The room did not at all feel or smell fresh or clean like you would expect. Due to dim lighting, it was not until the morning that we saw the DIRT, and by dirt I mean built up dirt on the window sills, more dead bugs, and mould on the inside of the big light filled bedroom glass window (not somewhere mould grows overnight) and the filth of food/fat and spills down the kitchen cupboards. We ventured outside and headed for the pool, which would be better described as a duck pond. It was also filthy and green, and not somewhere i would swim or expect anyone else would want to either (unless you were a duck or frog). There was alot of animal droppings both in and surrounding the pool and it appeared to have been that way for sometime. There was no sincerity behind the reluctant apology but to be honest i felt as though complaints from unhappy guests was a common thing, i do know we were not the only unhappy guests at this time. The only positive experience we had was breakfast in the restaurant. Unfortunately we will not return, nor would we recommend to anyone...

I read all the reviews...and I am wondering if it is the same place that we are all staying. Yes the staff are friendly.....yes there is a swimming pool, tennis court and a spa....but that's where the similarity ends! Our rooms whilst comfortable, have no fly screens on ANY windows. The light fittings have not been cleaned out since the last millennium and have a deep accumulation of bugs. The bathroom slider door was dirty, but wasn't noticeable till you closed the door, which is what one does when using the bathroom. My husband dropped some cream on the bathroom floor and when I cleaned it up I noticed and clean patch where I had wiped, so the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned properly either. The front door of our unit won't close unless you lock it and there is a terrible draft that comes in from under the door. We have a party of 30 staying at the "Resort", two of them had no hot water for two nights running, and were told to shower in the amenities block, till the problem was fixed. The food in the restaurant are large servings, but no cooked breakfast in the morning, even though this is what we were told we could have. One night I asked for pizza and asked if the capsicum could be left off, I was told that all the food is pre made so it's not possible. Hotel/Motel it may be....but it is definitely...
