Came here to have the lunch meal only to be told that it was not available on the day. There was no mention on the website that it would not be available. So ordered the spicy chicken curry and steamed rice. Firstly, $26 for a small bowl of curry that comes with a layer of oil on top. The pappadum that comes with the rice took over 10 mins to come and the chilli sambol was just chilli oil. Very pricey meal!! The only thing positive thing about the place is the location and the view. BTW, the prices listed on the website are way off the prices in the restaurant. And they charged 2.5% for card payments. Bloody daylight robbery. Anyways, last time I visit this establishment. PS: I did think of getting the Pan rolls but then they were being charged $9.50!! Also, noticed they had a box of brownies and Cinnamon rolls bought from Costco in the original packaging which they are selling for about $3 a piece.

Came in expecting to kill some time while we had a meal and waited for the penguin parade. I can honestly say the whole experience was delightfully unexpected. Firstly, the ambiance is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views of the bay at sunset. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, especially the owner. Not sure about the other reviews, but we found the serving sizes to be quite generous; more than enough for our table of five. Also, as a Sri Lankan I can safely say that the spicy chicken curry was one of the most authentic I've had! And dare I say the raita was the best I've ever had! Overall, definitely worth a stop over on your way to the Nobbies or penguin parade. Will be returning if we're ever in the area! P.S The farm dog is such a sweetheart

We stopped here before going to the penguin parade and loved it! The staff was wonderful and the food was very good! There is a beautiful little area for kids to play while they wait and the view is spectacular, overlooking the sea with the occasional kangaroo hopping around. As for the food, it is a good quality and came quickly. We had the lamb and potato, spicy chicken, chicken biryani, and butter chicken with rice. All were good though if you don't want it spicy, be specific about that. Just have them make it less spicy, otherwise it will be pretty potent We even had the little creme brulees for dessert and thought they were fun! Yes they were premade but the topping from the little packets worked well and the custard was delicious. A charming meal!

I was excited to try this place and had a friendly greeting from a ?farm worker on the way in. I was looking forward to an authentic homely/country/farm-style experience and vibes. The coffee was reasonable (cappuccino). We didn’t try the food. We sat inside because it was raining. The interior was not very child friendly (looked like it was set up for fine dining, I wasn’t going to let my 3 year old near it! So we sat on the bench stools) and babychino was served in a takeaway cup filled to the brim but was too hot for even me to drink, so we had to empty some out and ask for a top up of cold milk. The drinks came with brownies, which were very delicious, but this wasn’t expected and probably explained the $9 for our cappuccino and babychino. The service was ok but there was not much happening in terms of vibe, we were the only people present, which I found strange in the middle of school holidays, radio on and drinks fridges humming in the background. The view is beautiful and our experience probably would have been better on a sunny day where we could enjoy the outdoor setting/views and playground. My wife tried this place a few days later on a sunny day and received a more normal babychino and could enjoy the outdoor setting, but the playground was closed. She enjoyed her drink and brownie but was charged $10 for a hot chocolate and babychino (and ā€˜complementary’ brownies). We didn’t quite get the experience we originally hoped for and we couldn’t quite work out the ā€˜target audience’,...

This place has a lot of potential for where it’s located and scenery, but we were very disappointed and frustrated with our choice at dining here. Popped in for coffee, hot chocolates , chips and pan rolls and was disappointed for several reasons. Firstly, our bill amounted to 43 dollars which was only for the items we had listed- not a main meal, for a family of 4 can’t justify that amount for coffees and hot snackšŸ‘Ž. Secondly the food was bland lacking salt and spice, was excited to try the pan rolls but found it bland and mediocre. The beef pan roll had hardly any beef and more bland potato and peaā˜¹ļø.Finally for the price we paid, we expect our coffees to be given as ā€˜ dine in cups, not takeaway. Overall, pretty scenery, friendly staff but a bit overpriced and lack...
