Pier Cafe, a Gem by the Sea Popped into the Pier Cafe for a morning bite and was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a great tone for the visit. The service was prompt and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. We opted for the bacon and egg roll and the breakfast wrap, both of which were freshly cooked and packed with flavour. The coffee was also top-notch. The cafe itself is a quaint little spot with plenty of interesting items to browse, perfect for a leisurely breakfast. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views of the pier and ocean. It's a truly relaxing and picturesque setting. If you're in the area, the Pier Cafe is definitely...

Stopped for take away coffee, great coffee also nice and hot. Very nice, cosy cafe. Bought my first Golden Northern Giant Twin, SA shut up and take my money (please send these to NSW)! Tony, chef and resident manager of the cafe, is friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Port Germein. We wish we could have stayed longer for lunch or dinner. Check, or phone, for opening times. The day we were leaving town (Friday), the cafe did not open until 9am, he also closes early if not busy. That's a long wait for coffee. It is a nice sleepy town, which makes sense. The general store was open earlier, with coffee, but sadly coffee was not good. But the store has everything else you...

We visited this place on a Monday morning on our way of Pt Germein. We ordered 4 egg and bacon rolls and they were made fresh to order. The husband and wife were friendly and quick to make our order. There are a lot of old photos on the walls to look at while you wait. There is seating in and out. They are open from 9.00am to 2.00pm, close, then reopen again at 5.00pm for dinner. The only thing I found no good was that they didn't have a phone no to ring to place an order, but that was a little thing, but overall, it's a lovely place to eat. There are toilets over the road and the Pt Germein jetty across the road. If you like my ratings,...
