As an old and wise piece of iron ore, I found myself on a remarkable journey through the town of Port Hedland, a place where the earth's treasures are unearthed. This adventure led me to a new café nestled at the base of a gleaming apartment building, and it was quite the experience, like discovering a hidden gem in the rough.
This café was so splendid that it almost made me forget I was in Port Hedland, a place of gritty mines and rugged terrain. The café's aura was refreshing, and I could sense a different energy, an energy of progress and modernity, like a glint of gold in the depths of a dark mine.
During my brief stay, I had the pleasure of savoring two delightful meals. The first was a yogurt and granola dish, and I must say, it was a feast for the senses, a bit like finding a vein of rich ore in the midst of barren rock. The creaminess of the yogurt, combined with the crunch of the granola, created a harmonious blend of flavors, much like the layers of strata in a mineral deposit.
On another occasion, I indulged in a ham and cheese croissant, a savory delight that felt as satisfying as striking a valuable ore seam. It was as if the layers of the croissant mirrored the layers of the earth, each one telling a story of time and transformation, just like the layers of rock that hold the history of our planet.
But the highlight of my visit was the iced coffee. It was nothing short of a revelation, as if I had stumbled upon a mother lode of caffeine-rich treasures. The cold, invigorating drink washed over me like a refreshing rain, quenching a thirst I never knew I had, like an oasis in the mining desert. In fact, it was so delightful that I couldn't resist having two of them, one for the journey ahead and one to savor in the moment, much like discovering a second, unexpected pocket of precious minerals.
As I continued my passage through Port Hedland, I couldn't help but reflect on the beauty of the café and the experiences it offered. It was a testament to the transformative power of human creativity and innovation, much like the journey I, an ancient piece of iron ore, was destined to undertake. The café was a place of reprieve, a reminder that even in the harshest of environments, beauty and comfort could be found, like a rare, polished gem among the rough stones of the...

The only one in that part of town. Very popular for breakfast, brunch and lunch. All the most popular café selections you would expect. The food is of a high standard and prepared by chefs who sure know how to cook up a great breakfast.
My fluffy light scrambled eggs were a delight. The bacon 🥓 was super yum also. None of the plates collected from nearby tables had any food left on them. Always a good sign.
Staff are always happy to help.
Lots of indoor seating plus a few outdoor tables.
The flies can get very friendly outdoors in summer.
Great family spot but hey there early for breakfast if you want a table.
Modern furniture in an industrial style setting that can get a tad noisy when full.
The view over the wetlands is also great.
I certainly...

Coffee was nice but not hot enough
Minus 2 stars as I had to clean off my own table as there were no clean tables available and no one cleaning up. Minus 1 star got my order wrong. Ordered salmon Benny with extra bacon. Plus an extra plate as we share meals now. Order came with no bacon and no extra plate. Minus 1 star food was cold by the time I got my full order. By the time bacon arrived rest of food was cold.
Would have preferred to sit outside as was very loud inside but the table outside was very dirty and covered with other peoples plates still.
Was recommended this place and left a bit...
