CRUISERS HUB — Restaurant in Port Lincoln

If I could give this restaurant a zero star review that’s what I’d give it! This morning my mother and I decided to go out for breakfast, because in the past cruisers did a great eggs Benedict no problems whatsoever. There weren’t many customers only 2 groups of customers. When we ordered we asked for crispy bacon runny eggs but cooked and my mum wanted mushrooms which we paid extra for which turned out to be $40. We received our meal probably 15 or more minutes later when all the other customers had already left. To begin with the bacon wasn’t even cooked definitely not crispy like we asked basically ham, the hollandaise sauce was disgusting I don’t know what type of sauce they used but it tasted like off cream and I bet even store bought hollandaise sauce would be better than the “sauce” we got! Everything else also tasted off and disgusting couldn’t even finish our meal as it was that gross considering it was $40. Definitely not...

The lack of attention to the cleanliness of the place is really off putting and has always been poor. Doors , windows , cabinet fronts , floors and the out door eating areas need to be cleaned properly. We saw staff wiping tables with dirty cloths and sweeping food scraps onto the floor. The cleaning equipment ie. Buckets and brooms etc. are also really dirty. The food quality is inconsistent and complaints are snrugged off. We go to Cruisers quite often. I know a lot of people have stopped going because of their race but if you gave them a chance they are all lovely girls and they try their best and the cooks do a great job.
