We had our daughter's 18th birthday party here and they couldn't have been more helpful. Other places were not keen on an 18th and their prices were ridiculous. The staff and owner went out of their way to ensure we had a great night. Even gave us use of the entire inside function/dining room. The food we ordered came out on time and was very nice. It all went quickly and we had to order more. I have had a number of other functions/farewells here before and will continue to do so in the future. I am a massive foodie, and when I tell you that the fish tacos were one of the best things I’ve had in Port I’m not joking. It was so juicy, the flavours were balanced. It wasn’t spicy or fatty, The dressing was full of taste. The fish was very delicate yet crispy, The whole thing was just filling enough but not overfilling and it was definitely worth the money. e hadn’t been here since it changed to The Local, but wow, what a transformation! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on even though it was super busy. We had the pulled beef tacos and they were bloody awesome! My husband had the filo pork belly and we’re already planning to come back this weekend just for that dish. It’s also nice to go out and not spend a fortune on drinks everything was really well priced.
