Anny's Takeaway & Convenient Store — Restaurant in Queensland

Shoulda / coulda been 5 stars all round....read on. Been doing Annie's for some months now as our closer takeaway priced itself beyond reasonable. As they are a bit further from home, we phone order, and never a problem. Annie's typically produce a good tasty burger. No issues here. We do like potato scallops as well. There is a problem here in that the product seems to be shrinking and just not worth buying anymore. Think average size Smiths chip, with batter, and you have it. We will be back, just not for scallops. The 4 stars is just because of the scallop shrinkage, burgers etc are...

Went there today and fish tasted like it was old and one piece was burnt so couldn’t eat the coating, chips tasted like they were also old and reheated and the potato scallops were awful Very disappointing as we have been there before and found them very good but...

The fish we got today was very nice, but the potato scallops were overcooked, dark brown and crunchy. A bit disappointed after reading how good they were...
