Atherton International Club — Restaurant in Queensland

I wish I had an option where I could have given them 0 stars. So I went to this club for the first time and ordered Singapore noodles mentioning I can't eat eggs so don't add any eggs as I am allergic to it. After 30 mins of waiting they got me a plate of noodles with eggs. I asked them to change it and after 45 mins of waiting, the chef came out and said we ran out of noodles. Epic a Chinese restaurant ran out of noodles. Therefore they asked me if I want to eat anything else - I said please bring me stir fried tofu with small serve of rice. They literally got me fried tofu with no sauce, no curry, no topping. So I waited for my friends to finish their food and I came out of the club without any dinner served. This has never happened to me before where I wasn't served food to eat. Also the customer service was ridiculously rude.

A big no no, as I won't walk in there again. Even if your food is not good, or you couldn't serve me you could have been polite. Your better customer service would have got me back there to give a second try, but nah...

Few weeks ago waited 1.5 hrs for roast of the day, salmon and fish and chips and no it wasn't busy ! Then sent the roast back, it was terrible, crackle was that like trying to eat a hard stiff leather that wouldn't even break ! The roast potatoes must have been cooked in the morning and then reheated, the pumpkin was over cooked and shrivelled up, horrible food. Thursday 6 Feb bloody long story but basically waited 1 hour for 2 x fish and chips and 1 buttered chicken. Then forgot 1 fish and chips, restaurant manager argued with me and basically called me a liar, wanted to see my bank to see that I paid, asked for a refund, refused said credit only, I said I will never eat there again. If I could give a lower score then one star I would, we had lunch there today and was very disappointed in the meal, I ordered crumbed steak chips and salad believing the meal should be OK but it was disgusting, the steak had been overcooked in the deep fryer and was dark brown in colour, the crumbs peeled off as they had been burnt to a crisp, the chips were cold and rubbery and not freshly cooked, the salad was very small made up mainly of green leaves. I will never return here again and would not recommend this...
