We dined at 12:00 on a Sunday. There we a few people there, in the bars and outside, and a raffle was going on! We were seated immediately and selected a table on the verandah. It was comfortable and had a pleasant view. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The decor was quintessential country pub and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail themed and references were appropriate without being over done. The menu was broad and tempting, with many pub staples on offer. I had a steak sandwich that was tasty and difficult to finish due to its generous size. My beautiful wife had barramundi fillets and they were also excellent. She also did not finish her meal. They were priced well and arrived with impressive speed. There were many great beer options on tap and the wines on offer were also good. We really enjoyed this visit and...

Everything was up to standard for an Aussie country pub ,sevice was with a smile and chat and the food was tasty ,my only reason for the low star rating is the fish kept in tanks as you walk through the entrance..there is a large fish in a small tank who looks absolutely miserable in his space .the tank looks pretty unkept as they all do . That poor fish has been on my mind since I walked into the hotel a few months ago and I hope one day that that poor fish has a larger pond to swim around in . Even a goldfish pond out the back or donate them to some aquarium where they can be looked after. His eyes look as though he had given up on life and as an empath ,I wish him all the best. Garlic bread was lovely and the beer...

Visited this hotel today for lunch, with a small group of seniors.. All I can say is 'Excellent'. The venue has a great country charm. The menu has a great selection. The prices excellent.. The service 'Outstanding', very friendly staff who serve your order with a smile. The wait time for our meals was great and the meals were served hot and very yummy..So If you are looking to go for a meal in the country setting, all I can say is, it's worth the drive. Lots of historical sites in this area. A big thumbs 👍 up. We will be back in a couple of weeks and bring out...

Really, really good! We went with a reasonably large group of people (10) so we bought our own buzz, but the place is clean and well setup with outside and inside dining. Menu options are better than most like country pubs and reasonably priced. I broke with long standing tradition and went with the fisherman's basket which turned out to be a great choice. None of the group had any issues with their meals so an easy 4 stars. A really good pub lunch.
