Sorry to say but very disappointed with my last visitâŚ. My husband and I came to have a nice weekend breakfast here as we hadnât been here in a while⌠as approaching the register to order we are not greeted with a hello more of a stare, as we were ordering my husband got the smashed avocado on sourdough and I got the eggs bene, we both looked at the front screen on the register and saw that the young lady had entered in pancakes (which we did not ask for) we assumed it was entered incorrectly and proceeded to order our coffees got to the end where the lady read our order back to us( not mentioning the pancakes) I asked the pancakes please be removed and was given a sigh. We sat at our table and waited patiently, we noticed a group of 4 enter the cafe and order and return to their table no more then 5 minutes later they were given their drinks and we had not been given ours. Eventually our food and drinks came out and was given to us in a manner that they might as well just chucked the drinks on our table and ran I woudnt of been able to tell the difference either way. My husbands avocado on sourdough was only a smear of avo on plan old white bread from iga (not sourdough) only one slice that was cut in half along with a single poached egg that could have been birthed by a quail⌠my eggs bene was more of eggs fried and the coffee was weak might as well just ordered milk with lukewarm water in it. The takeaway from this experience was the food for that price should be way more enjoyable and fulfilling for nearly $70 for 2 plates...
Read moreReally disappointing. Untrained, school age, sullen staff delivering poor service and poor food that is way overpriced. Took a visitor here for breakfast with optimism as when previously visiting myself it was good. I ordered a mug of long black and Turkish eggs. My friend ordered a cup of cappuccino and pancakes. We ordered separately. Her coffee came out in a mug. Mine didnât come out. Waited and waited. Waitstaff came out and said no Turkish eggs so I needed to choose something else so chose smashed avo with feta and poached eggs. I asked about my coffee and was told the barista had âgone to the toiletâ. My friendâs breakfast came out, and then finally my coffee. Sheâd ordered a side of bacon ($5.50!) and it was only the round piece - not a whole rasher. My coffee wasnât even hot so probably had been sitting there for a while. My plate finally came out. A smear of avo on each piece of toast, about half a teaspoon of feta over each piece, only one egg, a lukewarm hash brown and greasy undercooked bacon all on way too much balsamic glaze. And for $25.90!!! Blessed, if youâre going to charge primo prices you desperately need to lift your game. Maybe get a much smaller menu so you can do a few...
Read moreNot my first time at Blessed, but overall, not the best experience. I feel that if the staff need to apologise more than twice, then something is amiss. This was one of those days. When i asked for a sticky chai in milk, the staff didn't understand, or know, what that is. So i asked for two lattes with 1 sugar each. I was told the sugar is on the table. I reiterated that i prefer it put in before the milk is. Both lattes came with no sugar. When i ordered meals i was alerted that there were no eggs, so there would be a delay ... ok. It's the morning and there are no eggs? When the meals arrived, we were informed there are no avocados. No offer of a discount, no alternatives, nothing. Don't get the corn fritters, they're just a pancake with a bit of corn. And potato gems are not a hashbrown, though this is being picky. My companions eggs benedict was nice though. A bit of a lacklustre day at a cafe. But, i always suggest you try...
