Calen Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

We stopped for lunch at the Calen Pub, just off the Bruce Highway. We had steak burgers with chips. The burger had cheese and salad. The steak was tender and tasty, the salad was fresh and crisp and the chips were up there with the best. The staff were so friendly, professional and accommodating. Best lunch steak so far on our trip .. The rump steak was amazing and so well presented. Pepper and Mushroom sauces were made to perfection .. An amazing pub with friendly staff. Very helpful with changing food requests. They have live music every Sunday which was when we were there which created an amazing ambiance.
