Quite a build up of customers at lunch time, but each are dealt with courtesy and efficiently. Great pies of various combinations as well as sausage rolls, tasty pantries and an assortment of cold drinks. You can even buy burgers and chips if that's your thing. A great place to lunch, eat in, plenty of tables, or take away. Stop here for lunch on your way to the Sunny Coast! 👍😁 Hard to believe, but stopped for lunch there today and had the steak and bacon pie. It had little cubes of bacon with the steak and probably one of the best pies I have eaten and I have tasted quite a few in my 70 years. A great air-conditioned plus to get out of the car and enjoy a break and something tasty to eat. Best chips going with a choice of chicken or ordinary salt. They haven't forgotten you with the sweet tooth ...plenty to...

We have been to this chain before and were not impressed. This one at Kilcoy had better pies than the last, which is strange for a chain, I know, but the coffee was NOT good: warm and weak. The cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired, too: we had to look hard for a clean table among the many vacant ones.

Detracting from any attractive atmosphere, too, was Kilcoy generally. It is subject at the moment to the most horrendous roadworks causing unbelievable traffic buildup. We had not visited Kilcoy for some time and were quite shocked at the run down appearance of the place. I am no stranger to the town from which my father comes and where my mother and he met. We spent many holidays there during my youth visiting our many relatives in the area; it has gone downhill since then! So...

The shop looks great, the food looks good but I’m a little lost for words! Ive heard some very good reports about this Bakery but my experience today wasn’t so good!

Went in & asked to buy a hamburger bread roll & was told they didn’t have any. The girl that served me was young, blonde & well spoken. I asked her if they had any other bread rolls & was told ‘No, not this week, we had some last week though!’

So I said ‘So you’ve definitely got no bread rolls at all?’ She answered ‘No!’ As I went to walk out the door I saw a stand with several loaves of bread & several 6 packs of flat hambuger bread rolls. My first thought was just keep walking because there was no way they would just sell me one or two & thrre was no way we could use all 6 or fit them in our...

The unrecognized national treasure of Australia has to be the country bakery. This is our third visit to CJ's. We took the long way home from a 3 day escape to the Burnett wine region so that we could stop at a bakery. Steak and Kidney pies are getting hard to find but there was no such problem here. Lots of filling inside a flaky gutsy pastry. We followed that with a custard tart, a chocolate slice, and a caramel slice. A great exponent of the Australian country bakery.

Great coffee!! Lovely take on the traditional vanilla slice. Came here with my Sparkly lady friend, got a large 3 shot latte, medium Long Black and a vanilla slice for $13. Crema perfect. Bubble size perfect, prob needed slightly more froth (6mm, not 9mm). Smoothness of the coffee fantastic. Bitterness: mild. Only got 4 stars because my latte was less than 65°. Needed to be hotter. But damn. Nearly a God-brew.

Wow ! What a great place to dine in . Great service, really polite and courteous staff . The food is awesome , I had the Cj's Pie Combo , the pastry was lovely, the chips are the best I've had since goodness knows when, crunchy on the outside nice and soft centre . There is a rest room on the premises as well . Ample parking , wheelchair friendly.
