Cranbrook Fish and Chips — Restaurant in Queensland

Good friendly service but the shop looks unkempt and dirty. The microwaves work overtime in this shop. Presumably due to most things being frozen. The fish I ordered was zapped in the microwave prior to being battered and deep fried. The end result was that the fish went in the bin as it wasn't cooked in the middle, therefore, rendering it inedible. Such as shame as mentioned, the service was great but unfortunately it didn't...

This is probably one of the most disappointing fish & Chips I've had. Fish batter was falling of the fish was also to greasy and a weird after taste, chips were dry & were very stingy on the chicken salt seasoning, Also ordered Fish burgers, the burger buns were very dry and stale come on guys gotta do better this really, burgers had a lack of sauces & flavors.

Always awesome Fish and Chips! Good portion size and reasonable prices. I’ve been a regular for a couple of years now and I’ll keep going back! Honestly, one of the best fish and chip shops in Townsville hands...
