We stopped in here this morning to get a pie and coffee. We like to support small business in small towns when we can. We were greeted by a very unfriendly older woman. There were no cheese and bacon pies left at 9:50 am. We ordered a plain pie and a mushy pea pie, and a cappuccino that I asked to be just warm. When the coffee was ready I let woman know that we were instead going to eat in to which she replied Whatever. The pies were at best average. The coffee very hot and awful. I took two mouthfuls and left it. To call this a bakery is a stretch. Very sparse basic offerings. And the most unwelcoming service. If this place ever gets any competition it will be dead. Ps if you don’t like people or retail get out. If your having a bad day and it happens, don’t be the face of the shop work out the back rather than be rude to the people who are...

Very disappointed in this place. Decided to try the bakery as tried the other food places/cafe in town. This place was fairly busy but wow the attitude of the staff was something else, angry looks on the faces and treatment like you’re dirt on the shoe! No common decency and short rude replies.

I could put up with this because it was busy but then the food was terrible, overly salty and generally no flavour!

Don’t bother going here, you’d be better going to the servo on the corner where the staff are actually friendly and...

11.45am on a Saturday morning, very little pies on show, had all the ones that we didn’t like, said ok thanks will go elsewhere, that’s when she got rude. Said anything can be made hot once I finished with it. Yes we can all microwave a pie, but proceeded to as if we wanted them, said ok. Got our pies and walked out. Very poor service, was happy to get coffees and cakes for the road but walked out. Didn’t realise they shut at 12pm sharp on a Saturday,...
