I ordered a delivery late one night, my order consisted of: 2 x garlic naan, 1 aloo paratha and one order of butter chicken. The naan and paratha were good (paratha is one of my favourite things). The butter chicken was…not quite right, the sauce was a little bland, or not as flavoursome as I had expected and the chicken was the same. To be honest, it was as if you had run out of butter chicken and there was another flavour like chicken korma, then you just take out the chicken from the korma sauce and put it in butter chicken sauce, mix it up and hope for the best? Perhaps I’m wrong about that part, but it just tasted different. Not off, just different. I used to live in Tarneit, Melbourne which has lots of Indian eateries in the area, so I have had my share of butter chicken dishes. I know what butter chicken should taste like.

I went in to order dinner at around 8:00pm on a Thursday night. I was told the wait would be 25 to 30 mins. Ordered the Butter Chicken in Medium, plain rice and peshwari naan (fruit and nut) totalling just over $30. The curry had lots of flavour but was a little too spicy for my liking and just needed a tiny bit more of that creamy sweetness. The portions were average for the price. Maybe 6-8 pieces of chicken in sauce. It came in a 500ml takeaway container same as the rice. It's better than some Indian I have tried but not the best I've had. I'll keep searching for my favourite 😍

The balls of batter were an embarrassing excuse to be called "onion bhaji", worst I've ever had! Waste of money honestly, couldn't even finish one we threw the whole lot out.... Onion kulcha was eh, which is disappointing because they usually have pretty decent naan at this place The Chicken Saagwala was pretty good, only complaint is it had no heat whatsoever. The chicken 65 was OK but quite dry. 2 sides were supposed to come with mint sauce but we only received 1, which wasn't large.

We were visiting from out of town and wished to treat granddaughter to Indian for her birthday. The Delhi Kitchen was chosen for the venue. I hadn't made a booking and were told that due to staffing they were only doing takeaway for lunch today. After explaining the situation, the owners agreed to let us dine in. We so appreciated the gesture. I cannot stress how much we all appreciated this generous gesture of the young couple who were running the restaurant. The menu comprised a good selection of Indian dishes of which we chose lamb vindaloo, lamb Korma and butter chicken accompanied with naan breads and raita. We all had a delicious tasy meal. Thank you to the young owners of Delhi Kitchen, we appreciate your kindness today, and hope that next time we are in town we can try some other of your...

OMG! I took away food for dinner. Soon as I started eating, it was giving me stomach burn/ache (maybe the spices are not well cooked and extremely spicy) Also, took away daal makhani, was definitely not fresh (i do like this perticular dish and it was feeling wierd smell and sticky) Thank god I did not eat it. Having 2 different dishes worth almost $35 I went there to return whole thing with the bills and they said the Owner is not available. So we can not refund (person went back and made a call 3 times to someone but after 10mins of explaining, I did not get refunded) Anyways, Just wanted to share my experience, which I find very...
