Emerald Restaurant on Green Island was lovely and a nice place to sit as it is completely shaded with ceiling fans. Staff were all lovely and took that extra care. The mussels were lovely just quite a small serve for the price with only one piece of sourdough cut in half (the reasoning for not a solid 5 stars). The drinks were cold and full of ice which was lovely and my husband had the beef burger which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. As this is the “nicer” restaurant the prices were quite high. Still a lovely experience. Also shout out to Whitney, there was 2 small children running around inside, into other peoples tables, under tables, loudly shouting - their parents did not care in the slightest. Whitney got down to their level and spoke so politely about not running around inside as other people were having lunch, I was so super impressed with how she handled this and it was so refreshing to see that she went above and beyond for the customers. Thank you :)

We were staying on the island for a couple nights so had some lunches and dinner at Emerald restaurant. All the food we had was very tasty (except from the crispy rice it was too hard to chew but the rest of dinner was fantastic!). We had burgers for lunch on the first day and pasta and barramundi on the second days and they were all delicious. The cocktails we ordered were really good too! We decided to have pizza from the Reflection bar on the second night but the food wasn't as good as those from Emerald restaurant. The price is slightly higher than the mainland but it is understandable as everything has to be packed and bought onto the island by boat. All the staff was super friendly and helpful with giving information about the island and activities to do! Definitely the best food option on the island! PS the birds are quite brave in this place 😆

The expensive option on the Island for food. But when your on holiday you should be able to live it up right 🤔Barramundi spring rolls a good starter, they must have run out of finger limes for the salsa, disappointing to not be told or discounted, as I think they were probably the most expensive ingredient of the dish and MIA. Chilli prawn and mango salad, 3 prawns, no fresh mango, just some sloppy mango mash. Pesto Barramundi, no candy to the walnuts, again not to be told or discounted is just annoying and not professional. Resident birds constantly trying to steal your lunch wasn't appropriate. It was very relaxing. Service wasn't that great and a bit slow for such a small venue. 🙄
