HUB @ The Ridge — Restaurant in Queensland

Been here often, perfect stopover on motorbike ride. Always made to feel welcome, good food, service and coffee. Host, Ally, is always friendly and enthusiastic and has done amazing things to improve an already very good operation. I also travel with a motorhome and there is a free camp beside this place with a toilet block nearby which makes it the perfect stopover when on the road, wish there were more like this. Also a specialist smallgoods butcher in the same complex and they do pizzas on some nights, probably check on this for times. I think it’s fantastic, can’t recommend...

Although the egg and bacon burgers were huge & delicious, our hot chocolates were tasteless. The coffee was barely drinkable as not even warm. The young lady that took my father-in-laws order couldn’t get it right and he seemed to be overcharged. My husband went back to see the waitress and she had the orders wrong. She saw that she had overcharged him but no offer of a refund. We couldn’t understand that the ones in our group that ordered last, ate first. And the ones that ordered first, ate last. Unfortunately it’s not a place that we will revisit...

Stopped there this morning mid way through a photography shoot and had breakfast and coffee with a couple of photography buddies. The food was great and service was very friendly and efficient. The coffee was a little weak for my liking, but it's a beautiful spot and very relaxing. Great looking fruit and veg on display and for sale too - I bought some tomatoes and had some tonight. Delicious. I would definitely stop there in the future and maybe ask for a double shot coffee! Definitely...
