I recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting The King Reef at Kurrimine Beach, and I must say, the establishment remains a most delightful retreat. The atmosphere is as inviting as it is charming, with its quaint proximity to the beach lending an air of tranquility to the scene. The staff, most amiable and attentive, made my visit all the more enjoyable, particularly a good-looking brunette staff member, whose suggestion of the chilli chicken parmigiana proved to be an exquisite choice. The dish, prepared to perfection, possessed a delightful balance of spice and savoury goodness that left me thoroughly impressed. It was with a sense of nostalgia that I returned to this fine establishment, for my family and I made an annual pilgrimage to this very spot during my youth. I am pleased to report that, even after all these years, The King Reef stands as a beacon of hospitality, offering both cheap and refreshing libations, as well as an atmosphere of camaraderie. The accommodation, which I had the good fortune to enjoy in my younger days, continues to provide a most agreeable stay, making The King Reef a most worthy destination for any traveller seeking both rest and refreshment by the sea.

First time I’m coming here and it’s definitely the last time, at least for have a lunch or a dinner. We had 2 meals with my gf, one was the wagyu beef fried in the oil, and the other was a poke ball with friend chicken. Both of them was disgusting. First who has the idea to fry some beef ??? If no one is doing it maybe it’s for some reason ? It was really not tasty, sorry. The fries was without any taste as well and not cook enough. About the poke ball, the salad was so fatty, the chicken bathing in oil. First and last time for us and I don’t recommend to anyone to come here for eat

Superb food - THE best seafood fettuccine we've EVER had!! Such an excellent chef to make a delicate, full Flavoured pasta! Not cheap, but you pay a bit more for quality. And it's in the best location right on the beach with superb sunset views. Don't miss a dinner night out here. We're here for another 4 nights, so we'll try other dishes.

Don't have the chicken karage burger, my partner did and it was appalling, there was minimal chicken and it was dark brown, dry looking and greasy, not crispy at all. The bun was soggy with just a little bit of lettuce.

I had the fish and chips, mackerel which was a bit overcooked, but okay, the tartare was unfortunately sweet, chips were ok, salad was reasonable, but again the dressing was sweet, overall our meals were well below expectation. My recommendation is don't eat here just come for the view...
