Lots of hype about this place. So we travelled quite a way to eat here to see for ourselves. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. It is definitely not the "worlds best cheesecake" as claimed. In fact the Tiramisu one we tried had an awful taste. We reported it to the kitchen to discover another person had reported the same issue earlier the same day. Only after we sent it back did the kitchen bother to try their own recipe and they agreed that although it wasn't 'off' it wasn't a nice taste and they would delete it from the menu. Why a kitchen doesn't taste it's own food before supplying to customers beats me? Beware you are a potential lab rat when you eat here. Im sorry to say the coffee (cappuccino) tasted more like warm milk. And when we arrived the older lady (in charge?) was very disappointed we weren't the big group who had called just earlier. (I'm guessing she's likely responsible for the "Trespass Notice" at the front door that quotes a long list of High Court cases!?) So atmosphere was cold inside and outside the tables look over the carpark. The salted caramel icecream was dull (you can buy it in lots of places so you don't need to drive here). To be fair the other food looked good but we went there for cheesecake and coffee so didn't try any. And the young girl we reported the cake to was very apologetic and agreed to replace it with another - a black forrest one which was better, but still not award winning. Sadly our request of a refreshed scoop of icecream (the original one by now melted) was overlooked. Do yourself a favour, don't believe the hype. Go to the Millaa Millaa Tearooms instead. Bigger range of food. Panoramic views. Well tested menu items. Warmer atmosphere. More enjoyment. And if you want genuine "Worlds best" - go to Mt Uncles distillery in nearby Walkamin for genuine certified Worlds best gin and...

We were really looking forward to visiting after reading the reviews. The café area is lovely, and we arrived at 1:30 PM to find many customers sitting outside, still unserved. Inside was far too loud, which seemed to be why most customers were waiting outdoors.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. I stood at the till for 15 minutes with no one in front of me. There were plenty of staff in the area, and it looked busy, but no food seemed to be coming out. Although I was eventually acknowledged, the wait was unreasonably long.

We initially sat inside and moved outside once a table became available, but that table took another 15 minutes to be cleaned. We understand it was a busy time, but there were no greetings or apologies for the delays. We’re not usually fussy, but the lack of service made the experience unpleasant.

On the positive side, the kids’ toasties were great, and the cheese platter was generous although all the cheeses were stacked together, and we had no idea what we were eating. We also ordered the Reuben and roast beef Turkish sandwich, both of which were overwhelmed by a very sweet relish.

We had planned to browse and purchase some local produce, but the experience left us disappointed and ready to leave. The place has real potential, but the service needs significant improvement, especially in being more attentive...

Went up to the Tablelands for Easter weekend and heard it was a great place but I did not have that experience. When we arrived there was a a lot of people there. We waited in line and when we were served the lady was quite blunt and dismissive to us, like she didn’t want to serve us, including the other staff we interacted with. We ordered 2 milkshakes and nothing else which cost us close to $21. There were plenty of staff working so we thought it would not take very long however we waited over 25 minutes. There was no sense of urgency considering how busy it was. After waiting around for a while one of the staff members family walked in with a newborn baby, the staff member stopped every person working to meet the baby whilst the cafe is full of people and there is a still a line to be served. Once we finally received the milkshakes we were very surprised they looked kids sized. Half the size you would normally get at any other cafe I have been to. It was not an enjoyable experience for such a...

Adorable dairy farm and cafe located in Millaa Millaa, Queensland. This local cafe is rustic and charming. We ordered the cheese platter for 2 with extra blue cheese and we were impressed by the variety of cheeses as well as the generous portions. It came with chili and onion jams, fruits, crackers and many sides that paired well with the cheeses. Additionally, we got the strawberry crepes with vanilla ice cream and the scone with cream and jam. The scone came with Devonshire tea that was grown locally. Both dishes were very good with great quality ingredients. The only downside was the wait. For the cheese platter, it took about 45 minutes from order time. But we didn’t mind because it was a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed the view. Although the location is a little out of the way, we highly recommend to stop by this cafe.

Very nice cafe with delicious food. Staff was friendly and service was quick even though it was packed. After ordering I think we only waited about 15 mins. Had some scones, the savoury cheesecake, toasted paninis and the cheeseplatter for 2. Accompanied by iced coffees, a mallshake and a cappuccino. Everything was excellent and super tasty. It is a bit expensive I must admit but worth it as a special treat when in the area. Only issue we experienced was my partner's coffee. He had ordered a caramel cappuccino and while drinking it didn't taste any of the flavour which cost extra to add. Once he finished the drink we saw the thick syrup was just sitting in the bottom of the cup and wasn't stirred into the coffee properly. Would definitely come back when visiting the Tablelands again!

First the positives... The food is delicious, the location stunning and the service is good. Not so great... Lots of room for improvement inside. It is functional but by no means does it provide a memorable visit. If you took away the location, it would probably slide into obscurity. The furniture is a mixture of style (the tables) and functionality (the bulky, tattered "camping" chairs). Decor is below average - beautiful photos spoilt by budget frames, etc. The floor is also a mixture of beautiful wood and torn vinyl. With minimal work, this could be a great place inside as well as outside. Be aware, parents, that only unisex toilets are available so you'll want to accompany your young kids to the bathroom.
