Noosa North Shore Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

What a fabulous spot! We went here on Australia Day, expecting it to be packed, but decided to go as it was one of the few places we could take our dogs. We took the ferry over (so much fun for only $10 each way, makes it feel like an adventure) and arrived in what felt like a world away from the chaos that is Noosa on a public holiday. We sat in the beer garden and the big kids (aged 15 to 22) could have some fun on the enormous jumping pillow as there was hardly anyone around. The food was pub food and substantial and the service was relaxed and friendly. We then played on the awesome 18 hole putt putt course. Where else can you play putt putt for $5 a person? There is also a bouldering area and again it is only $5 a person. I've read so many negative reviews about this place and I'm confused, what do people expect? Yes, take mossies spray as they can be vicious and plentiful as you would expect in an area with a lot of vegetation. But I reckon this resort and the tavern is the best value gem on the entire Sunshine Coast. My now Husband and I just had our wedding here. The service was outstanding, food was to die for and atmosphere was all round amazing and full of laughs 😄 Aaron and his team made sure it was the perfect night with no dramas or stress, the tables were set up beautifully with white seat and table covers, Aaron even went up and beyond with letting us use the space by the lake to have our beautiful ceremony which was feshly maintained and easy access. Chips weren't cooked enough, gravy was watery and lacked much needed flavor. Everything on the menu was vastly overpriced and included in the high prices you have to go and get the food yourself instead of it being delivered to you.
