Booked a table over 24 hours in advance for two people my partner and myself for his birthday. Everything was fine got my booking confirmation and showed up the next night for his birthday dinner only to be told they have no tables and they have us sitting out side with a wedding party of like 40-80 people right in the middle of them all obviously the wedding party didnāt know the table was reserved as they had taken the table for themselves as well as every other table they booked which was fine not their fault at all! But after the girl struggled for ages taking us back and forth through this wedding party she decided to kick them off the table to seat us right in with them all. Obviously feeling very uncomfortable that they where getting kicked off for us to be seated in their wedding party (people we donāt know at all) I decided to tell her we will go some where else and was told āthatās fineā no apology or nothing even though I had booked this reservation and now had to move my partners birthday dinner to a whole other place thankfully the P.A was very accomodating to us and got us a table with them within 15 minutes! Much better service by the P.A for sure! The parkhurst tavern is obviously lacking in organisational and management skills. Felt very unwelcomed by parkhurst tavern which was disheartening as I was trying to make my partner have a special...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Parkhurst Tavern is a clean and tidy establishment. Well staffed and all staff wore name badges which is great as it personalises the experience. The tavern is not table service and you just grab your menu and go up to order. When ordering you are supplied your cutlery and your beeper to let you know when your meal is ready. The menu is vast and caters for all ages. Menu prices range on average around the $22 mark. They have lunch specials daily and a childrenās menu. The tavern is well spaced out and allows for disability access without feeling cramped in the dining area. I ordered the Thai beef salad and my friend ordered the octopus salad. All meals came out in a timely manner and further condiments are available when you grab your meal. Drinks are well priced and served with a smile. The tavern owners should be super happy with the customer service and the smiles. Nothing was too much of a problem. They offer disability ramps and toilets and ample parking. Great customer service with a smile and fantastic value for money...

The carpark was on the fuller side but still some room, so that's a good sign.being gluten free i waa happy to settle for steak & veg. We went in and looked at the menu and saw there was gluten free options, i was a little apprehensive but we asked about the gluten free crumbed steak if it was cooked in the same oil and I was beyond delighted when they said yes its all kept separate even the chips i hadn't had a crumbed steak in many years so I ordered it my dad who isn't gf got a schnitzel and we were blown away by the meals they staff did warn us there was wait as it was busy (the dinning room was nearly full) but it was still quick. We were thoroughly impressed š the gf crumbed steak was bigger than my hand and my dad schnitzel was also on the large side we ate most of it but we had to leave some chips behind. We were so full and very happy. We will happily...
