Peeramon Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

Staff and service- 5 star. Very friendly and offered suggestions for food that had run out (due to very busy night). Bar and wait staff could not be faulted.

Unfortunately, the meal was the let down. I ordered a Chicken Parmi (which I always order when I eat out). $28+$4 sauce was $32. That is more on the expensive side when ordering Parmi’s. However, when it arrived I was utterly surprised there was no meat on it. After inspecting the menu, it was an additional $5 for ham or bacon. Which, would have taken my order to $37. For a very average sized parmi, that is ridiculous. The chicken was fresh, but the rest was average at best! My local’s parmi is $17- double the size and includes sauce. The rest of the meals that came out were very average too.

NIL STAR rating. (as it won't let you comment without the star) Not impressed with my meal at all!! Ordered Curried Chicken Noodle Homemade Soup. Sounded Yummy. I would describe the so called soup as smashed mildest curry potatoes, nearly raw carrot and macaroni blurb. It had no moisture, and still wondering where the chicken and noodles were. The 2 small pieces of bread were nice. Setting is great. Company was great. Chef needs a lesson how to...

Once my local for 30 years, now sadly after visiting last week it is just a shell of it's former self. I've been away for a few years and thought I would visit my old haunt but was sadly disappointed. Now no better than a grubby tin shed. Food and service was very poor, main bar now locked up, toilets were dirty, absolutely no atmosphere. Sorry but I will not be back. Sad to see this old girl in such...
