I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I simply cannot resist sharing my appreciation for the exceptional service, staff, and products at Preston Seafoods.
Having lived on the Northern Beaches in Far North Queensland for over a year now, I’ve become a loyal customer, visiting at least once a week—often two or three times. Preston Seafoods has become one of my favorite places to shop, and it’s easy to see why.
From the moment you step through the door, the experience is outstanding. The staff are not only extremely friendly and welcoming but also impressively knowledgeable and helpful. The products are second to none—the freshest local seafood you can find, complemented by an impressive selection of rare frozen, imported varieties. And their ready-made meals? Absolutely incredible!
I want to give a huge shoutout to all the staff and extend my kudos to the owners and management for creating such a fantastic business. If I move further south in the new year, this place will truly be one of the things I miss the most.

Their deli section is fantastic, with artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and those perfect condiments you never knew you needed. The ready-made meals are restaurant-quality — think salmon patties, seafood pies, and incredible pasta dishes you can just heat and eat. It's so handy when you want something delicious without the prep. Their frozen section blew me away. From premium seafood to high-quality international specialties, it’s like a culinary passport in a freezer. And for fellow Francophiles — yes, they even stock gourmet French imports! Duck mousse, puff pastry, authentic terrines… the kind of thing you'd expect in a Parisian épicerie. Staff are lovely, knowledgeable, and clearly care about what they do. Preston locals, you’re lucky. The rest of us will just have to make...

Their order didn't arrive.......Ok, it didn't arrive but Coles and Woolworth do sell cutlery!!!! They sell cooked meals but there is no tables where you can eat. Keep that in mind. Wanted to buy tuna (it cost $49 per kg), asked them if they can slice it for us - yes they can but they will charge $79 per kilo!!!!! A small pace of tuna around 150 gramms would have cost us $6 to slice it!! Seriously!??? Overall- fish and chips we had was decent but, don't see the point too travel there as you can get it everywhere else. I didn't find prices to be cheaper compare to...
