Raglan Tavern — Restaurant in Queensland

Tried to make a large booking at the Raglan Tavern and was completely let down by the experience. First off, they repeatedly failed to answer the phone over several months. I left multiple messages trying to organise a group booking well in advance, and not once did anyone return my calls.

When I finally managed to get through, the staff were not only unhelpful but downright rude. They acted as though I was being difficult just for trying to book a table — and even claimed I hadn’t left any messages, which was simply untrue. No apology, no accountability, just a defensive attitude and a clear lack of interest in actually providing service.

It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated like this, especially when you’re trying to give a business your support. This place clearly doesn’t value its customers, and based on this experience, I can understand why it's closing down.

Not sad to see it go — hospitality like that...

Pulled in for lunch with the family, Couldn’t see the menus till 11:55am asked nicely what was on the menu got told to wait till the menu comes out , fair enough but it didn’t have to come with an attitude! Asked nicely three times by three different people , ALL of us got nothing but attitude! Toilets stunk, paper towel supplied to wash hands is like plastic. Pool table didn’t spit white ball back out , darts supplied for dart board all broken but 3. There was 10 of us , all walked out and went up the rd to Mount larcom pub where we had nothing to fault at all.

Would have stayed if we didn’t get attitude from the lady behind the bar. You lost over $300 in commission....

Was going to stop here. Drove in past staff coming I'm. Nothing said. A 50yr old woman came to caravan about 2 hrs later and accused us of being rude for not going to the office. Wanted us to reverse in. Also assused us of blocking driveway. There weren't any signs indicating neither the way they wanted us parked or report to office. I had checked when we parked. We were 4 / 5 metres from driveway. Won't let me talked and continually talked over us. It sounded like this is the woman from previous reviews. I suggested they amend the wifi information. We left and spent our money elsewhere. Don't...
