Relish Restaurant — Restaurant in Queensland

We have been coming here for years, haven’t been for several months though. Today was very disappointing. The croquettes were delicious, partners gnocchi was good. I asked if the squid was calamari or octopus, waitress went to check, came back it is calamari, (Ido not like the little tentacles). It was tiny octopus, floury & bland. The salad didn’t have any dressing, not a good meal. The waitress said, “we have people from Noosa come & prep the food & have no control over it,” strange excuse. The desert was panna cotta bland & over powered by heaps of tinned passion fruit. The waitresses were cheerful but had no clue on service, I was asked, “you wanna drink”. Booked in at Relish for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary so was hoping for a high quality dining experience. As per usual Relish delivered on all levels. Bri , Joseph and Laura from Front of House team welcomed us and looked after us in a professional manner with just the right amount of humour and fun . Chefs in Kitchen delivered world class quality food, fresh , tasty and healthy . Truly superb food utilising quality local ingredients which is important to us. Booked for lunch got there and was kept waiting 15 minutes our table was taken so were moved to the back of the balcony. Ordered wine waited 15-20 mins after chasing it up. Had to get up for water. One of our waiters was incredibly unprofessional. No idea where the wine was from had to tell him(it’s on the menu) described the parfait as a very weird mousse.
