Amazing amazing food! We've been longing for some good African food in Cairns for a long time and were recommended to visit here. It didn't dissapoint! Got the goat curry and lamb curry which both came with rice. Super quick, tasty and generous servings. Richard was also very friendly and the space was low key, comfortable and cosy. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!!

The best goat curry I’ve ever eaten — absolutely delicious! The salt and pepper squid was just as good, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We were so impressed with the food and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Just visited Richards salt and pepper takeaway and feel the need to leave a review. For a small place it has a very good menu ranging from melt in the mother salt n pepper squid to both mild and spicy curries. Thank you

Must say how tasty the food was.

Tonight was Sweet potato and chicken curry for me which was really full of flavour but still mild enough to share...

Richards food is fantastic and clearly made from the heart! My personal favorite is the goat curry, salt and pepper squid and green papaya salad, but seriously, I've never had a bad meal here. Only downside I've found over the years is the shops opening hours are not reliable, so call ahead to avoid...
