The entrees we ordered were the spring rolls, chicken satay skewers and the curry puffs. The curry puffs in particular had a delicious taste and came in a serving of four, perfect for my group. As an added bonus, they came with sweet chilli sauce, which is always a plus. For our mains, we ordered both jasmine and coconut rice, a clear chicken soup, the mussamen curry and the beef and black bean dish. The beef and black bean dish had the thinnest slices of beef I'd seen in a while, and when paired with the black bean sauce, created a flavour explosion. The clear chicken soup was a great palette cleanser for the other dishes. For desserts, we placed orders for the pan fried ice cream and the sticky black rice pudding. The fried ice cream was served within minutes of being ordered and was drizzled in caramel sauce.

Overall, the service was excellent. We had waitresses come multiple times to our table to confirm our order, and service was always speedy.

There weren't many people at the restaraunt, so if you're looking for a place to eat without background noise, arrive at about 6:00.

Altogether, this was a great place to dine. 5 stars....

While the menu prices at Thai Taste in Norman Gardens, north of Rockhampton, are slightly higher than some competitors, the restaurant features a spacious open-plan dining area with ample seating and beautiful décor, creating a pleasant atmosphere. There's also plenty of parking available out front.

Service was attentive and our first entrée arrived 9 minutes after placing the order. Each dish was beautifully presented and plated. A unique item was the fish cakes, which offered an interesting twist on the typical pan-fried version; they appeared to be lightly battered and deep-fried instead.

I Loved it here, the staff are so lovely with young girls and boys always with a smile. I come in here with my husband every now and then as we live in a retirement home all the way in Yeppoon. Nothing compares like the Thai food here.We were helped by a young girl Anna, she suggested dish’s for my husband , and was just very pleasant to talk too, she always had a smile on her face and took the time to take care of my husband and I even though it was very busy. Very happy with my experience here. Meals came out fast too though restaurant was packed and price was reasonable but definitely...
