Thai Van — Restaurant in Queensland

Have been back here twice since the first visit. This place has now become a regular in my 'go to' list 🙂 The general consensus is that you cant go wrong with street food! I agree. I have driven past here a few times and decided to try it out.

We ordered Chicken pad thai, Chicken fried rice and Beef pad see ewe. The food was ready in 15 mins as we were told after ordering and tap to pay was available. Each item was $13 each. Pretty good, a little heavy on the pepper but that gave a pleasant burn that didn’t go amiss. The noodles were a tad undercooked/dry. There was only one person cooking 3 different dishes so its not a deal breaker. I had seconds! I often wonder does it REALLY taste good or is the msg telling my taste buds the food is yummy? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Msg isn’t bad for you, its a flavour enhancer. I cook a food a bit and dont use msg. I think that if you need to use msg to make your food taste good then you aren’t really a good cook. But to each their own.
